Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.6m beam and a 3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 457 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
The exterior of the DE-DE yacht features a light grey hull with teak capping, complemented by a white superstructure and a black boot stripe. The structure includes a flared, raked bow and a slope up to the pilothouse.
The fixed swim platform provides easy access to the water, while the rest of the deck spaces are devoted to socialising and relaxation with two al fresco dining areas and a jacuzzi up on the sundeck served by a bar.
Interior Design
The interior design of De De reflects a modern classic style, by the French firm Stirling Design International. The main salon is an open-plan space featuring glossy dark wood joinery and light-colored carpets. This area includes a formal dining table made from natural stone, accommodating up to 10 guests. The sky lounge serves as a smart space with a built-in cinema, offering a place for relaxation and entertainment. The helm benefits from a raked-back pilothouse design, providing clear visibility and straightforward navigation.
Accommodation
De De offers accommodation for up to 10 guests within a practical five-cabin layout. The yacht features a full-beam owner’s suite located on the main deck, complete with a separate office area and ensuite with a bath-tub. In addition, the lower deck houses three double cabins and one twin cabin, ensuring comfortable lodging for all guests. The use of marble in the ensuite bathrooms adds a touch of luxury.
She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3508B) 1,200hp engines, motor yacht De De is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 65,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down. De De also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
