The first unit is already under construction in Italy, with launch planned for autumn 2026. If the build schedule holds, the GTX90 is expected to make its public debut later this year, most likely at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.
First details revealed at boot
At this stage, Pershing has released only limited confirmed information on the GTX90. No official technical specifications were published at the boot Düsseldorf 2026 press conference, but a short video presentation and commentary from the brand offered a clear indication of intent and direction.
According to Pershing, the GTX90 continues the core philosophy established by the GTX116 and GTX80, with a strong focus on speed, usable volume, and a more open, lifestyle-driven layout than the brand’s traditional performance models, such as the Pershing X Generation range. As with the GTX116, propulsion is expected to be based around MAN engines paired with waterjets, reinforcing Pershing’s commitment to high-speed handling and shallow-draft capability within the Pershing GTX series.
Performance remains central to the concept. Pershing emphasized that, despite the increase in interior volume and near full-beam accommodation, speed remains a defining priority for the yacht. The GTX90 is positioned as delivering the same sense of pace and driver engagement associated with the brand, rather than shifting toward a slower cruising profile.
Interior volume and layout were also key talking points. Pershing highlighted the near full-beam interior arrangement, particularly on the lower deck, where the width made possible by the hull form supports a four-cabin layout with a notably generous owner’s suite. The brand described this as a step forward in terms of space and comfort without compromising the aggressive proportions expected of a Pershing.
Early layout details and design responsibility
While full renderings of the motor yacht have not yet been released publicly, Pershing confirmed that both exterior and interior design for the GTX90 are by Vallicelli Design, continuing the same design partnership seen across the GTX lineup.
Several layout details were confirmed during the presentation:
-
An expansive aft cockpit measuring approximately 37 square meters
-
Fold-down side terraces extending the cockpit footprint at anchor
-
Accommodation for eight guests across four en-suite cabins
-
Dedicated crew area for up to four, including crew mess and galley
The emphasis on the aft section closely follows the GTX design language, where the cockpit and beach-level spaces act as the social core of the yacht. Pershing again referenced the importance of versatility across different phases of use, from watersports and swimming to entertaining and relaxed cruising.
New volumes, expanded terraces and a layout that amplifies every possibility on board: Pershing GTX90 is the embodiment of what yachting has never dared to be."
Pershing
Construction is underway at Pershing’s Mondolfo facility, where the hull and superstructure are currently in build. The brand indicated that the yacht should be visible in the water during summer 2026, ahead of a formal launch later in the season.
Where the Pershing GTX90 sits within the GTX range
The GTX90 is positioned squarely between the current GTX models, bridging the gap between the 24m Pershing GTX80 and the 35m flagship Pershing GTX116 - both of which have been extensively reviewed by YachtBuyer.
Below the GTX90, the Pershing GTX80 represents the most accessible entry point into the GTX series. Reviewed by YachtBuyer as the “friendly face of Pershing,” the GTX80 places a strong emphasis on owner operation, IPS propulsion, and family-oriented cruising. Its four-cabin layout, expanding aft deck, and approachable handling package define the lower end of the GTX spectrum, where usability slightly outweighs outright aggression.

BOAT TESTPershing GTX80 Review (2024 Edition)
At the top of the range, the Pershing GTX116 sets the tone for the series as a whole. With triple MAN engines on waterjets, a five-cabin layout, multi-level beach club, and a top speed around 35 knots, the GTX116 established Pershing’s interpretation of a Sport Utility Yacht. It pairs the drama and pace of a Pershing with the deck space and water access more commonly associated with slower, volume-led cruisers.
The GTX90 is intended to sit directly between these two philosophies. Compared to the GTX80, it steps up significantly in scale, crew capability, and propulsion approach, moving away from IPS and toward waterjets and higher top-end performance. Compared to the GTX116, it promises a more compact, potentially owner-driven package while retaining the core GTX traits of speed, open-air living, and beach-club-focused design.
More details of the GTX90 are expected closer to launch, with the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 likely to provide the first opportunity to see how Pershing has translated the GTX philosophy into this new 27-meter class.
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, Pershing currently has 9 yachts either in build or on order. This includes units from the Pershing 9X and Pershing 140.
