The Grand Trawler 62 really makes the most of its wide beam to create a very spacious interior. Its traditional trawler layout has its galley raised up amidships to port with a comfortable dining area for eight opposite. The dining area makes use of a transform table and folding chairs to create extra space when not in use. Large glass sliding doors easily connect the living accommodation with the aft cockpit.
Below decks the full-beam Owner’s cabin really does feel exceptionally roomy, with the en-suite located forward to maximize space around the berth. The VIP cabin in the bow has an impressive amount of headroom, and there is a third cabin with a twin berth. There is also the option four a four-cabin layout with the forward cabin becoming the Owner’s cabin and the amidships cabin space being configured as two guest cabins.

The social theme of the Grand Trawler 62 continues with an aft-facing, L-shaped sofa offering wonderful sea views from the aft cockpit, which is designed to feel like a “terrace on the sea”.
A glass transom and three steps connect the cockpit with an impressive bathing platform with a swim ladder with handles, an aft-facing step/seat and the option of a tenderlift with integrated transom steps.
Wide side decks lead to a large sunpad with adjustable headrests and a bow seat for soaking up the sun.
Moving up a level, we get a modern take on the flybridge style. A large U-shaped sofa and table seat eight, with the big L-shaped wet bar directly opposite and inward-facing for socializing and interaction. An L-shaped sofa adjacent to the twin helm station adds more seating options, and such is the size of the flybridge there is even space for two more sun loungers aft.

The Grand Trawler 62 is a full displacement yacht powered by twin MAN i6-730 engines providing 730hp each. With a top speed of 20 knots the Beneteau Grand Trawler 62 is more designed for slow cruising and has a range of 1,000nm at 10 knots with a 4,000 liter fuel capacity.

The Grand Trawler 62 have a distinctive displacement hull, developed by MICAD with the aim of improving their cruising range and efficiency, making it easier for owners to cast off on long-distance cruises. She is 18.95 meters long (62’) and has a hull beam of over 5 meters (16’5”). Designed for 6 to 8 people on board (+ crew), the boat has an impressive flybridge – one of the biggest on the market.
The interior spaces are spacious and well appointed. The galley can be completely enclosed. The VIP guest cabin in the bow has a considerable amount of headroom, so that you feel like you are in a hotel suite. Strikingly spacious inside, with volumes similar to much bigger yachts, and ingeniously designed, these large passagemakers also have enough space to comfortably house a crew.
