Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.2m beam and a 1.4m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 155 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the fourth yacht built in the series. She was delivered to her owners in January 2018.
Exterior Design
55 Fiftyfive is a 31.30m (102.8ft) Cerri 102 FlyingSport yacht built by Cantieri Navali Cerri, and her design sits between a flybridge yacht and a large open sports yacht. The profile is low, fast and clean, with a long bow, swept deckhouse and dark glazing set into the silver hull, so the yacht has that sharp Mediterranean performance look.
The deep-V hull and surface-drive setup support the yacht’s speed, with twin 2,600hp MTU engines giving a top speed of 38 knots. This is a fast yacht, and the exterior makes no attempt to hide it.
Deck space is spread across bow, aft deck and flybridge. The bow has a large sunbathing area and a wide round sofa that can seat up to 14 guests, so it works as a proper social space rather than a token foredeck pad. Aft, there is dining and lounge space with a folding TV, barbecue, fridge and another large sunpad, all close to the water and the saloon.
The flybridge adds the extra layer that defines the FlyingSport concept. It has an outdoor table, a large sunbathing area and a shade tent, giving guests open-air space without losing the fast, low-profile character of the yacht.
Interior Design
Inside, 55 Fiftyfive has a bright main saloon with large windows, light-toned upholstery and a more relaxed sports-yacht feel. The saloon includes two settees, occasional chairs, a 75-inch motorised LCD TV and a Bose surround sound system, so the space works well after time on deck.
Forward, the formal dining area seats six and sits close to storage for crystal, crockery and wine. It is a compact but complete dining setup, and the wine cooler adds a useful detail for longer charter use.
The interior is air-conditioned throughout and supported by Wi-Fi, giving guests a comfortable base between runs along the coast, evenings at anchor or days spent around Amalfi, Positano and Naples.
Accommodation
55 Fiftyfive accommodates up to 9 guests across 4 cabins. The layout includes a master cabin, a VIP cabin, one double cabin and one twin cabin with a Pullman berth.
The master suite has a double bed and 40-inch LCD TV, while the VIP cabin also has a double bed and 40-inch LCD TV. The additional double cabin is fitted with a 32-inch TV, and the twin cabin includes separate beds, a Pullman berth and its own 32-inch TV.
All cabins have marble en suite bathrooms. Crew accommodation supports up to 5 crew, which suits both private cruising and charter use.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V2000 M96L) 2,600hp engines, motor yacht 55 Fiftyfive is capable of reaching a top speed of 40 knots, and comfortably cruises at 32 knots. With her 9,498 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 450 nautical miles at 20 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
