Key Features

  • Tiered tri-deck arrangement
  • Spacious exterior lounge zones
  • Open sun deck
  • Wide bathing platform aft

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.68m beam and a 2.18m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 262 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Launched in April 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in June 2024.

Exterior Design

Queen J III presents a sharp, contemporary profile with a raked bow and a sheer line that carries straight through to the stern. The hull is painted in a crisp white, punctuated by long horizontal windows low on the main deck and a set of larger rectangular openings on the upper decks, giving the interior natural light while accentuating the linear styling.

The superstructure is tiered across three decks, each with extended overhangs that create shaded exterior terraces. The wheelhouse level flows into a broad upper deck, while the sun deck above is crowned with a dark radar arch that adds contrast against the white hull and superstructure.

Aft, the design steps neatly down to the bathing platform at water level, which provides direct access to the sea. The open deck spaces are generous, designed to host dining, lounging, and sunbathing areas across the different levels. Together, the yacht’s geometry balances strong vertical lines with stretched horizontal glazing, giving a sleek and slightly architectural presence on the water.

Interior Design

The interior has been designed to feel both inviting and adaptable, with furniture and finishes that balance style with everyday use.

The main salon opens onto the aft deck through wide sliding doors, with a fold-down balcony on the starboard side to further merge inside and out. A pair of armchairs face forward behind an L-shaped settee, creating a space that feels equally suitable for formal dress evenings or casual days in swimwear.

Forward in the salon is the formal dining table, again enjoying the openness created by sliding doors and balconies. This arrangement ensures light and air are ever-present.

On the upper deck, the sky lounge is the standout interior space. A long, forest-green sofa sits against windows that flood the room with natural light. It connects directly to the aft dining terrace, reinforcing the indoor-outdoor theme. A central staircase and pocket door provide privacy or circulation options as needed, and a discreet pantry nearby supports service.

The galley is commercial-grade, set to port on the main deck with a direct link to the crew area. Natural light filters through a large side window, while broad counters give plenty of workspace for meal prep.

Throughout, small details elevate the atmosphere: mirrored walls and glass partitions enlarge the guest foyer below, while subtle variations in colour and fabric give each cabin its own character.

Accommodation

Queen J III accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins, supported by six crew for balanced service.

The owner’s suite occupies the forward main deck. Entry is through a small library area, followed by a walk-in wardrobe hidden behind glass. The centreline king bed faces large windows on both sides, filling the cabin with natural light. The ensuite bathroom is split into his-and-hers sections, divided by a glass rain shower with generous glazing for brightness.

On the lower deck, four guest cabins are arranged around the foyer. The VIP lies aft with a centreline queen berth, small desk, and an ensuite larger than those of the other cabins.

A twin cabin with two single berths sits to starboard, while two additional doubles lie forward as mirror images, though each carries its own subtle colour scheme. One leans towards plum tones with velvet pillows, the other towards slate shades. All cabins feature large hull windows, so even at the waterline they feel bright and spacious. Every guest cabin has its own ensuite bathroom with sandstone finishes, rain showers, and clever sink designs that hide the drains.

The crew mess includes a small galley and laundry area, with three ensuite cabins arranged forward: one single and two doubles. With six crew members in total, service ratios are kept balanced. The captain benefits from a private cabin just steps from the wheelhouse, unusual for a 33m yacht and highly practical for operations.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12 LE466 CR) 1,400hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Queen J III is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 20,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,850 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
