Designed by Joe Lazzara with naval architecture by Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects, the new Crescent yacht features a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. She has been developed to deliver the interior volume and amenities of a much larger monohull while retaining the benefits of a shallow-draught multihull platform.
CCY110 Design
The yacht's hull and deck fabrication are already underway, with the speculative build intended to reduce delivery times while still offering significant flexibility for owner customisation. According to the builder, the yacht provides more than 7,100 square feet of interior and exterior living space and over 400 gross tons of volume, making it suitable for both private ownership and charter.
Beach Club and Exterior Spaces
The exterior layout has been designed to maximise time spent close to the water, with a 1,500-square-foot (approximately 139-square-metre) beach club forming the heart of the motor yacht's social spaces. The area features an open-air chef's kitchen with a teppanyaki grill, alongside a plunge pool, wellness room and multiple lounge and dining areas, creating a seamless connection between onboard living and the sea. Built with a shallow draught, the multihull has also been designed to cruise destinations such as Florida and the Bahamas that can be challenging for larger monohull yachts to access.
Custom Interior and Accommodation
The boat's interior will be tailored to the future owner's requirements, with flexibility to customise the layout, finishes and onboard systems throughout construction. Accommodation is arranged across six guest staterooms, including a full-beam owner's suite, while the generous internal volume is intended to provide the comfort and living space typically associated with a significantly larger yacht.
Engineering and Performance
Engineering has been developed with a focus on structural efficiency, simplified construction and long-term operating economy. Propulsion details have not yet been released, though the aluminium multihull platform has been engineered to maximise usable space while reducing unnecessary complexity.
Expanding Crescent's Custom Portfolio
The CCY110 marks an expansion of Crescent Custom Yachts' growing build programme. According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the Canadian shipyard currently has three yachts in its order book, including the 45-metre Legacy, a steel and aluminium superyacht engineered by Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects and due for delivery in 2027. Joining her is the 42-metre Dauntless, a long-range motor yacht with exterior styling by Ocean Pacifico Design that is expected to launch later this year.
