First 38m ISA Viper 130 Motor Yacht Fast Naan Launched Ahead of Cannes Debut

Fast Naan introduces a new performance-focused ISA design

As the first Viper 130, Fast Naan opens a new chapter in ISA Yachts' performance range, bringing the speed and dynamic profile associated with a sports yacht into a 38m platform designed around substantial guest spaces. Taut exterior lines give the yacht a low, purposeful profile, while the arrangement places a strong emphasis on keeping guests connected with the sea. The model also marks a further expansion of ISA's portfolio beyond its larger displacement yachts, with Fast Naan conceived to balance high-speed cruising with the volume and outdoor living expected aboard larger motor yachts.

The aft cockpit is arranged across three levels, beginning with a waterside beach area fitted with a transformer platform that can serve as both a swim ladder and passerelle. Steps lead to an aft-facing sunpad and lounge, where opening side balconies expand the deck into a wider terrace over the water, while the upper level is dedicated to outdoor dining for up to 10 guests. An aft galley and bar can be opened to guests for show cooking and entertaining or separated using an electrically operated switchable-glass partition. Concentrating access to the bow along the port side has allowed ISA to dedicate more volume to the interior, while the foredeck becomes another private guest area with a pool, sunpads and sofas. Above, the carbon-fibre hardtop shelters a sun deck with a second helm station, bar, dining area, lounge and large aft sunpad.

Inside the superyacht, a second bar leads into the main saloon, where opening floor-to-ceiling windows bring natural light into two separate lounge areas and reinforce the connection with the exterior decks. Accommodation is arranged for up to 11 guests across five cabins on the lower deck. The owner's suite features two bathrooms, while the remaining accommodation consists of two double cabins and two twin cabins, one of which includes an additional Pullman berth. Crew circulation has been separated from the principal guest routes, with access to three en-suite crew cabins located through the galley and accommodation provided for up to six crew members.

Fast Naan is powered by three MAN V12X engines producing 2,200hp each, connected to two MJP waterjets and a central MJP booster. The configuration gives the Viper 130 a claimed maximum speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots, placing performance at the centre of the model's identity. The planing hull is constructed in GRP with carbon-fibre reinforcements to support the yacht's combination of speed and interior volume, while a side-loading garage to starboard accommodates a 5m tender. 

According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, ISA Yachts currently has 16 yachts in its order book.

Among the most closely related is the second ISA Viper 130, which entered construction on speculation in Ancona and is scheduled for delivery in 2028, extending the new performance series beyond Fast Naan.
