Developed by the Oxfordshire-based engineering company that operates alongside the Atlassian Williams Formula 1 Team, the ES10M can be configured for yachts from around 50 metres to over 100 metres in length. The scalable battery system supports hybrid propulsion, battery-powered hotel loads and fully electric applications for tenders, chase boats and support vessels.

Each module stores 9.8kWh of energy, while complete systems range from 39kWh to 4.2MWh, allowing the battery to support hybrid propulsion, hotel loads or fully electric applications depending on the vessel's requirements.

How does the ES10M improve safety?

Safety is built around a layered architecture that uses thermal protection materials, integrated gas management and an advanced battery management system. Using physics-informed machine learning, the software monitors battery cells in real time, predicts load behaviour and identifies potential faults before they occur, while remote diagnostics allow operators to monitor the system offsite. The battery modules are IP67 rated, with Lloyd's Register class approval currently in progress.
