Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7m beam and a 1.83m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 167 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Destiny 94 design.
Exterior Design
Aqua is a 28.6m (94ft) Destiny 94 with a raised pilothouse layout and a profile that prioritises internal volume without sacrificing deck space. The superstructure extends close to the yacht's full beam through much of the main deck, a design choice that creates unusually generous interior dimensions for a yacht of this size. Deep bulwarks and wide side decks give the walkaround areas a secure, substantial feel.
The bow features integrated sun pads, protected by high bulwarks and accessed via teak side decks. Large windows run along the superstructure, bringing natural light into the accommodation and helping break up the yacht's profile.
The flybridge provides several distinct guest areas. A dining space sits beneath an enclosed Bimini structure, alongside a full bar and additional seating. A Jacuzzi and sunbathing area occupy the aft section, while a hydraulic upper helm station can be raised into position when required. The deck also incorporates storage for a tender and jet ski, served by a dedicated crane system.
At the stern, the bathing platform provides access to the water and the engine room. Built with a GRP hull and superstructure, Aqua uses a semi-displacement hull form that combines comfortable cruising with respectable performance.
Interior Design
The interior uses high-gloss cherry wood joinery throughout, a style typical of premium yachts from this period. The main saloon stretches almost the full width of the yacht, creating a notably large living area with loose seating, a dedicated bar and substantial storage. Large windows on both sides bring in plenty of daylight and provide good views from the seating areas.
Forward of the saloon is a separate formal dining room with seating for guests around a full-size dining table. The layout gives each area a clear purpose while maintaining an easy flow between the social spaces.
The raised pilothouse combines updated Garmin navigation equipment with a comfortable seating area for guests. From here, stairs lead directly to the flybridge.
The galley sits on the main deck and includes full-size refrigeration, a wine cooler, dishwasher and generous work surfaces. Direct side-deck access improves practicality for crew and provisioning. Below deck, crew facilities include a mess area, additional refrigeration and extensive storage spaces.
Accommodation
Aqua accommodates up to eight guests in four suites and carries up to four crew.
One of the yacht's most unusual features is the presence of two owner-standard suites. The forward main deck suite includes a private dressing area, extensive wardrobe storage, a rising television and a large en suite bathroom with twin sinks, a separate toilet compartment and a dedicated shower. Main deck owner cabins remain uncommon on yachts from this era.
Below deck, a full-beam suite spans the width of the yacht and offers lounge seating, multiple wardrobes, dressing areas and two en suite bathroom sections. Its size and layout rival many dedicated owner suites found on larger yachts.
The remaining guest accommodation consists of a double cabin and a twin cabin, both with en suite bathrooms and separate shower compartments. Storage is generous throughout, with large wardrobes and cabinetry in each cabin.
Crew accommodation is arranged in two twin cabins, each with en suite facilities.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V2000M90) 1,343hp engines, motor yacht Aqua is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 21 knots. With her 15,140 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 650 nautical miles at 21 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
