101m Feadship Superyacht Destiny Delivered Following Sea Trials

Dutch shipyard Feadship has delivered the 101m superyacht Destiny, following the completion of sea trials in the North Sea. The custom superyacht enters service as one of the yard’s largest recent deliveries, with expansive outdoor living spaces and a reported internal volume of 3,840GT.

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the custom Feadship yacht features exterior design by British studio RWD, naval architecture by Azure Naval Architects and interiors developed by RWD in collaboration with Chahan Interior Design. Following her departure from Poole, United Kingdom, AIS data shows Destiny is now bound for Gibraltar.

A more restrained approach to large yacht styling

Rather than relying on aggressive lines or oversized detailing, Destiny adopts a softer and more balanced exterior profile shaped around flowing curves and carefully layered deck proportions. The deep navy hull creates a strong contrast against the bright superstructure, while bronze accents subtly soften the overall appearance. Large sculpted hull windows and continuous glazing help reduce the visual mass typically associated with yachts above 100 metres, giving the project a cleaner and more contemporary presence on the water.

Elevated outdoor living spaces spread across multiple decks

The motor yacht’s layout is strongly centred around exterior use and open views. The main deck aft incorporates a large glass-bottom swimming pool positioned directly above a beach club with fold-down sea terraces, creating a direct connection to the water. Higher up, a forward-facing Jacuzzi and enclosed observation lounge occupy the upper deck levels, while a helipad is integrated into the foredeck arrangement. Together, the features create a yacht designed for extended time outdoors while maintaining privacy across separate deck areas.

Interior details remain private ahead of first cruising season

Inside, the yacht features a refined contemporary interior design. Extensive glazing throughout the superstructure brings significant natural light into the guest spaces. At the same time, the yacht’s volume of approximately 3,840 gross tonnage allows for expansive communal areas alongside substantial owner and guest accommodation. The collaboration between RWD and Chahan Design shows a bespoke layout tailored to the owner’s requirements rather than a standard platform configuration.

Final delivery concludes years of construction and outfitting

The yacht’s sea trials represented one of the final technical phases before handover, allowing propulsion systems, onboard engineering and handling performance to be tested in operational conditions. Construction began in early 2023 before the project moved through outfitting in Makkum during 2024 and 2025. Built as a fully custom yacht, Destiny now joins the upper end of the global fleet by size and internal volume, reinforcing Feadship’s continued presence in the 100m-plus segment.

Destiny joins YachtBuyer’s YB100 ranking of the world’s largest superyachts

Following her delivery, Destiny also joins the YachtBuyer YB100, YachtBuyer’s definitive ranking of the world’s biggest yachts. Unlike traditional rankings based purely on Length Overall (LOA), the YB100 uses Gross Tonnage (GT) as its primary measurement, offering a more accurate reflection of a yacht’s true size, internal volume and onboard capacity. With a reported volume of 3,840GT, Destiny’s inclusion highlights the sheer scale of the project beyond her 101-metre length alone. As modern yacht design increasingly focuses on larger internal living spaces, wider beams and taller superstructures, the YB100 provides a more meaningful comparison between today’s largest superyachts, reinforcing Destiny’s position among the most substantial custom yachts currently in operation.

Feadship maintains strong activity across the custom superyacht sector

According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, Feadship remains active across the custom superyacht sector with several major projects currently in build. Among them is the 82m superyacht Vanish III, a sleek custom yacht under construction in the Netherlands with extensive glazing and a stern arrangement centred around beach club living and direct water access. Also progressing toward delivery is the 46m superyacht Perfect Lady, an aluminium motor yacht featuring interiors by FM Architettura and accommodation for up to 10 guests across five suites.

The delivery of Destiny further strengthens Feadship’s portfolio of landmark superyachts already in operation. Among the Dutch builder’s most significant recent projects is the 119m superyacht Breakthrough, recognised as the world’s first hydrogen fuel-cell powered superyacht, alongside the 100m superyacht Pi, a refined custom yacht celebrated for its minimalist styling and elegant proportions. Feadship also delivered the 102m superyacht Symphony, a six-deck superyacht designed around expansive owner living spaces and large-scale onboard entertaining.
