The Azimut Seadeck 9 features exterior design by Alberto Mancini, interiors by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, and hybrid-ready Volvo Penta IPS propulsion, placing the model within Azimut's Low Emission Yacht family.
A new Pool Deck transforms life at the water's edge
The newly released images reveal the yacht's standout feature: a redesigned 180-degree Pool Deck that evolves Azimut's signature Fun Island concept. Three cascading terraces create a continuous entertaining space stretching from the swim platform to the main saloon, while fold-down terraces, a flush-deck plunge pool, a transformer swim platform and movable sun loungers maximise the connection with the sea. Twin staircases inspired by Mediterranean villas frame the aft deck, reinforcing the yacht's open, resort-style layout.
Interiors designed around light, space and natural materials
Inside the motor yacht, floor-to-ceiling glazing, generous ceiling heights and a disappearing glass door allow the main saloon to flow directly into the aft deck, creating one uninterrupted living space. Interior designers Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez have developed two design schemes featuring either light walnut or pale oak finishes, both centred on natural materials and minimalist detailing. Accommodation includes an owner's suite, a VIP cabin and two guest cabins, with the owner's suite offering a private retreat inspired by contemporary eco-resort design.
Hybrid-ready engineering reduces emissions
As the flagship of Azimut's Seadeck series, the boat showcases lightweight carbon fibre construction with one of the builder's most efficient planing hulls, developed in partnership with Names. The triple Volvo Penta IPS propulsion package is compatible with hybrid electric technology and contributes to fuel consumption and emissions reductions of up to 30% compared with similarly sized yachts using conventional shaft-drive systems. Azimut's Hotel Mode is also integrated, allowing the yacht to operate key onboard systems silently for up to eight hours overnight using a dedicated 60kWh lithium battery pack.
Built for Cannes and beyond
The yacht was launched earlier this year and is now preparing for her public debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, where visitors will have their first opportunity to step aboard the new flagship Seadeck model. The yacht also represents the largest vessel ever built at Azimut's Avigliana production facility, following the shipyard's €50 million redevelopment programme.
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, Azimut currently has 71 yachts in build or on order across its portfolio. Among the builder's standout models are the carbon fibre Grande 30M and the award-winning Grande Trideck, whose innovative three-deck beach area helped redefine the segment.
The Seadeck family marks Azimut's continued investment in lower-emission yacht design. YachtBuyer MarketWatch tracks every Azimut yacht currently in build, on order and for sale, giving buyers a comprehensive view of the builder's evolving portfolio alongside the global brokerage market.
