Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.65m beam and a 2.45m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 456 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2007. She was delivered to her owners in July 2009.

Exterior Design

Behike is the fourth hull in CRN's highly successful 43m (139.9ft) Navetta series, a platform that helped establish the Italian builder's reputation for combining serious cruising capability with the volume of much larger yachts. Measuring 456GT, she offers the internal space many owners would expect from a yacht approaching 50 metres, yet within a hull that remains easier to operate and maintain. Eight yachts were built in the series, underlining the popularity of the design.

Zuccon International Project gave the Navetta 43 a timeless profile built around clean horizontal lines and well-balanced proportions. Long bands of glazing lighten the superstructure, while broad overhangs shade the exterior decks and make them comfortable throughout the day. Nearly two decades after her launch, the design still feels current because it prioritises proportion and functionality over fashion.

The deck arrangement reflects the way owners actually use a long-range yacht. The main deck aft provides a sheltered setting for outdoor dining close to the saloon, while the bridge deck offers a quieter lounge with uninterrupted views. Above, the sundeck combines a Jacuzzi, generous sunpads, a fully equipped bar and multiple seating areas, giving guests plenty of choice without concentrating everyone in one place.

The stern was particularly forward-thinking for a yacht launched in 2009. CRN integrated a gym and sauna directly into the transom, so the wellness area opens onto a fold-down swim platform at the water's edge. Today that arrangement feels familiar, but when Behike entered service it anticipated the beach club layouts that would soon become standard across much larger superyachts.

Interior Design

Behike's interior follows the classic Italian approach that CRN became known for during this period. Canaletto walnut, natural cherry wood and parquet flooring create warmth throughout the guest spaces, while the latest photography shows these traditional materials paired with lighter furnishings and contemporary fabrics that keep the interior feeling bright and welcoming.

The main saloon makes full use of the yacht's generous beam, creating a large open living space with a dedicated bar, comfortable lounge seating and a formal dining area for ten guests. Wide windows draw natural light deep into the room, and the layout flows naturally from one space to the next, making it equally well suited to relaxed family cruising or formal entertaining.

One of the yacht's biggest strengths is the bridge deck skylounge. Equal in scale to the main saloon, it provides owners with a completely separate living area fitted with a Yamaha piano, entertainment system and comfortable seating. Two full-beam lounges are still unusual on a yacht of this size, and they give Behike a level of flexibility that owners appreciate during extended cruising or when entertaining larger groups.

Accommodation

Behike accommodates up to 10 guests across five cabins, with a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck comprising two VIP cabins, one double and one twin. Separate accommodation for nine crew allows service to remain discreet throughout the yacht.

The owner's suite has been planned as a private apartment. A fold-out balcony brings fresh air and sea views directly into the cabin, while a private office, walk-in wardrobe and separate his-and-hers bathrooms connected by a central shower provide the space expected aboard a substantially larger yacht. It is a layout designed for owners spending weeks or months on board rather than short holidays.

Guest accommodation benefits from the yacht's generous beam and full-displacement hull, allowing each cabin to include comfortable ensuite facilities, good wardrobe space and practical storage for longer voyages. The arrangement works well for both private family use and charter, with enough separation between cabins to give guests plenty of privacy.

Performance & Capabilities

Behike is powered by twin Caterpillar C32-C diesel engines delivering a top speed of 15 knots and an economical cruising speed of 12 knots. With fuel capacity of 45,000 litres, she can cover approximately 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots without refuelling, opening up itineraries well beyond the Mediterranean and making Atlantic crossings or extended Caribbean cruising entirely practical.

The full-displacement hull has been designed for comfort over long distances. Naiad stabilisers reduce roll both underway and at anchor, while the combination of substantial displacement, generous beam and moderate cruising speeds creates the steady ride expected from a serious cruising yacht. This is a platform built to spend long periods at sea without compromising guest comfort.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
