Key Features

  • Flybridge with custom wet bar
  • Glass doors with motion sensors
  • Hydraulic fold-down swim platform
  • Tri-deck layout with expansive space

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 6.7m beam and a 1.75m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 138 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the third yacht built on the GFT98 design.

Exterior Design

DESTINATION is a 29.87m (98ft) tri-deck motor yacht that makes the most of her size, with expansive outdoor areas and a robust build suited for both relaxed cruising and more ambitious voyages. Her exterior profile carries a bold, purposeful look, anchored by a high expedition-style bow that not only enhances her offshore capability but also gives her a much larger presence in the water.

The hull is finished in a glossy navy blue, with a crisp red and white bootstripe and a clean white superstructure - a classic yet distinctive look. At the stern, the transom opens hydraulically to create a generous swim platform that folds down for easy access to the water, whether for swimming, launching tenders, or watersports. A hydraulic passarelle streamlines boarding from the dock.

Up top, the flybridge offers a spacious and sociable layout, complete with a custom-designed wet bar, large sunpads, and plentiful seating - all ideal for long days under way or moored at anchor. Just aft of the enclosed skylounge, there's a vast upper deck area for entertaining or taking in the views.

The skylounge itself features its own enclosed lounge, a convenient day head, and panoramic windows that connect guests to the surrounding seascape. Additional helm stations on both the flybridge and aft deck improve maneuverability in close quarters. With her flexible deck arrangements, DESTINATION balances relaxation, functionality, and a sense of freedom at sea.

She’s outfitted for real-world cruising, with twin 110kg Rocna anchors, 91.4m (300ft) of 16mm (5/8in) chain, and Maxwell 4500 windlasses to hold position securely in a range of conditions. The cockpit can be arranged for either watersports or fishing, rounding out her outdoor credentials.

This is a yacht that travels well - DESTINATION is more than just looks.

Interior Design

Inside, DESTINATION strikes a welcoming balance between functionality and warmth. The main salon flows directly into the dining area and aft deck through large glass doors, which operate via motion sensor and switch for ease of use. This wide-open layout encourages a natural, easy movement through the living spaces - ideal for entertaining or relaxed family time.

The interior palette features satin-finished Maple wood, light-toned upholstery, and playful, nautical-themed carpets in the cabins. There’s a relaxed atmosphere throughout, designed with families in mind.

The galley is tucked out of sight but close to the dining area, maintaining privacy while still enabling efficient service. Forward on the main deck, the pilothouse is equipped with a full suite of navigation and monitoring systems, with excellent visibility and an intuitive layout for the captain.

A central computerized monitoring system keeps track of onboard operations, while equipment such as Northern Light generators, an ASEA shore power converter, Naiad stabilizers, and both bow and stern thrusters support smooth, confident handling.

Accommodation

DESTINATION accommodates up to 9 guests across five cabins, with additional quarters for a crew of up to 3.

The standout feature is the on-deck owner’s suite, which includes a king-size berth and a private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Below deck, three guest cabins are each fitted with queen beds and their own generous ensuite bathrooms. A fourth guest cabin currently features a single berth and a crib, making it ideal for a family with young children. This space can also be repurposed as the captain’s quarters if needed, offering flexibility depending on how the yacht is run.

Crew accommodation is located in a separate area and includes a cabin with three bunks and an ensuite, along with a dedicated crew mess that’s equipped with the essentials for comfortable day-to-day life on board.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 1,652hp engines, motor yacht Destination is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 21,570 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,500 nautical miles at 11 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

DESTINATION’s wide, walkaround decks and enclosed skylounge invite long days at sea.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort, while underwater lights create a dazzling light display when the sun goes down. Destination also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
