The 28.15m motor yacht Ray 3 was delivered to her owners in 2013 by British shipyard Sunseeker. Sunseeker is responsible for the complete look and feel of the superyacht, having created the interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.5m beam and a 2.05m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 77 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Accommodation
Ray 3 offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M94) 12-cylinder 1,825hp engines, motor yacht Ray 3 is capable of reaching a top speed of 28 knots, and comfortably cruises at 23 knots. With her 9,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 460 nautical miles at 23 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
