Silky is a 27.86m Sport Fisher yacht delivered by American shipyard Sea Force IX in 2010. Her exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Ron Rookstool, while Rick Hyer is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.98m beam and a 1.65m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 127 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the fifth yacht built in the series.

Accommodation

Silky offers accommodation for up to 7 guests in 3 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 2 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Powered by twin diesel MTU (MTU-16v2000-M94) 2,600hp engines, motor yacht Silky is capable of reaching a top speed of 36 knots, and comfortably cruises at 26 knots. With her 16,542 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,000 nautical miles at 20 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
