The new Sport Coupe joins Viking’s 50 Series with a protected helm, a cockpit equipped for fishing and two cabins below deck. It is one of four new Viking and Valhalla models scheduled to premiere at the show.
A Sport Coupe in Viking’s 50 Series
The 50SC shares its running surface with the Viking 50C, 50BF and 50O, but places its helm on a command deck with direct access to the cockpit. A hardtop and single-piece wraparound windscreen provide shelter, while an aft bulkhead is optional. Viking also offers a Sport Tower version with a tuna tower for owners who want a higher vantage point when fishing.
Cockpit equipped for fishing
The yacht features a 12.2-square-metre cockpit with in-deck fish boxes and a raised transom livewell. Mezzanine seating overlooks the working area, with freezer and cooler storage beneath it. The arrangement provides dedicated fishing equipment alongside a place for guests to sit near the cockpit.
A sheltered saloon and two cabins
The three-sided command deck doubles as a saloon, with a raised helm and dinettes to port and starboard. Below, the forward master cabin can be specified with a queen or crossover berth and has its own bathroom. A second cabin has upper and lower bunks. The lower deck of the sportsfisher boat also contains an L-shaped galley and dinette; buyers can choose a Pullman berth or rod storage beside the dinette, and a day head or tackle locker farther forward.
Twin MAN V8 power
The boat is powered by twin MAN V8-1200 diesel engines and carries 3,785 litres of fuel as standard. Viking has yet to publish a top speed.
