€850K Price Drop on 38m Superyacht Azimut Grande Trideck Tamanya

The 38.2m motor yacht Tamanya has received an €850,000 price reduction, bringing her asking price from €17.75 million to €16.9 million.

Delivered in 2023, Tamanya was the eighth unit of the first generation Azimut Grande Trideck series. She pairs exterior design by Alberto Mancini with interiors by Achille Salvagni, while P.L.A.N.A. handled the naval architecture.

Tamanya’s interior follows Salvagni’s residential approach, with the current sales listing highlighting an expanded material palette that includes backlit onyx, bespoke marble and silk-touch furnishings. With a gross tonnage of 295GT, the yacht has considerable internal volume, with large social spaces alongside separation between guest and service areas.

One of the more distinctive details is the main saloon, where custom-designed cut-out bulwarks and full-height glazing open views toward the water. Tamanya has been described as the most customized Grande Trideck delivered by Azimut to date, with modifications extending beyond finishes into the layout and circulation of the yacht for sale.

The focus on light and open sightlines can also be found elsewhere in the Azimut range. The Alberto Mancini-designed Azimut Fly 53, for example, uses extensive glazing and carefully managed interior volume, while the larger Azimut Fly 60 places similar emphasis on the relationship between its saloon, cockpit and surrounding views.

Mancini’s exterior design is built around the Grande Trideck’s “Three Decks + One” concept, creating several distinct outdoor levels rather than relying solely on a conventional three-deck arrangement. On the superyacht for sale, these include the Sea View Terrace, a private patio and a beach area positioned close to the water.

The bow provides another substantial guest area, arranged with sunbathing space and a built-in Jacuzzi. A beach club aft incorporates an open-air gym, while Tamanya also carries a Castoldi Jet 18 tender, two Jet Skis and two Seabobs. Outdoor living remains a theme across Azimut’s wider portfolio, although interpreted differently according to size and purpose. The Azimut Seadeck 6 uses fold-down cockpit balconies to create its “Fun Island”, while the Azimut Magellano 60 features an open aft cockpit and terrace-style arrangement aimed at extended cruising.

The Grande Trideck model has also received industry recognition. It entered the YachtBuyer Awards Hall of Fame in 2022 and was a finalist at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards that year for naval architecture, exterior design and interior design.

The motor yacht for sale accommodates up to 10 guests across five main suites, including an owner’s cabin on the main deck and a VIP cabin. The brokerage listing also notes two additional Pullman berths, increasing sleeping capacity to as many as 12 guests when required. Crew accommodation is provided for up to seven, with five crew cabins and a dedicated captain’s cabin.

Built with a fast-displacement GRP hull and carbon fibre/GRP superstructure, Tamanya is powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96 diesel engines producing 2,600hp each. She has a top speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots. At 12 knots, the yacht has a quoted maximum range of 1,700 nautical miles from 22,500 litres of fuel. Stabilizers are also fitted to support comfort underway and at anchor.
