The Riva 96' Argo Super builds on the success of the outgoing Riva 90' Argo with a series of layout revisions, larger outdoor living areas, and brighter interiors. The new model was created by Officina Italiana Design in collaboration with the Ferretti Group Strategic Product Committee and the group's Engineering Department.
More space where owners spend time
One of the biggest changes can be found at the stern, where Riva has reworked the beach club and cockpit to strengthen the connection with the water. The garage door now incorporates a large sunpad complete with integrated handrails and cup holders, while opening to reveal storage for a Williams 435 tender and a personal watercraft. Below, the swim platform now features a lifting mechanism that simplifies launching water toys and accessing the sea.
The cockpit has also received practical updates. New storage compartments, an integrated refrigerator and adjustable backrests on both longitudinal sofas give the area greater flexibility whether configured for dining or relaxed lounging.

Above, the flybridge benefits from redesigned mahogany tables and a new bar arrangement. Like the outgoing Riva 90' Argo, the yacht retains the uninterrupted flow between cockpit, flybridge and foredeck that became one of the defining characteristics of the model's "infinity deck" concept, creating multiple entertaining spaces across nearly the entire length of the yacht.
Brighter interiors, smarter planning
Several of the most significant changes have taken place inside. The addition of a day head on the main deck has allowed Riva to reorganize the accommodation below while making everyday circulation easier for owners and guests.
The main salon is now available in two configurations. Hull one features a dining area positioned aft and the lounge forward, strengthening the connection with the cockpit and making the social spaces feel more open. The full-beam owner's suite also benefits from larger glazed surfaces and furniture positioned to maximize natural light and outward views, allowing occupants to maintain a visual connection with the sea even while lying in bed.
Below deck, relocating the day head has created additional volume for guest accommodation. The standard arrangement includes three guest cabins, highlighted by a spacious full-beam VIP suite aft that approaches the proportions of a second owner's cabin. Buyers can alternatively specify three VIP cabins alongside a twin guest cabin.
Refined systems below the surface
Power comes from twin MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines producing 2,000hp each. Riva has paired the propulsion package with an extensive suite of onboard assistance systems, including Seakeeper NG18 and NG10 gyroscopic stabilizers, the Watchit collision prevention system, Xenta X-AID maneuvering assistance and virtual anchor technology, plus a stern thruster designed to simplify close-quarters handling.
While much of the engineering package remains focused on comfort rather than outright speed, the updates reinforce the model's role as Riva's flagship flybridge yacht for owners seeking extended cruising with reduced workload at the helm.
The arrival of the 96' Argo Super also continues the evolution of Riva's yachts in the 26 to 30-meter segment. Earlier models such as the discontinued Riva 88' Domino Super established the builder's reputation for sporty styling and high-performance cruising, while the 90' Argo shifted greater emphasis toward expansive onboard living. The latest model carries that progression further with revised layouts and larger entertaining spaces.

More 2026 CYF world debuts in the 27-30m segment
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the world's largest yacht database in the world, the 96' Argo Super will be joined by several other notable premieres when the Cannes Yachting Festival opens in September. Pershing will introduce the GTX90, a 28m sport utility yacht featuring expanded outdoor terraces and a redesigned main deck focused on uninterrupted indoor-outdoor living.
Turkish builder Numarine will present the 27 XP Open, a 27m long-range explorer with raised bow seating, a supersized flybridge and accommodation for up to 10 guests in five cabins. British builder Princess will also unveil the X90, whose Super Flybridge design prioritizes interior volume with three distinct exterior entertaining zones and a full-beam main-deck owner's suite, further strengthening this increasingly competitive size category.
