Fourth Arcadia A96new Superyacht Launched With Owner-Customized Design

The fourth Arcadia A96new superyacht has officially launched, signaling another milestone for the 29m model as the Italian builder continues to grow its order book across multiple ranges.

The latest Arcadia A96new was launched from the shipyard's facilities in Italy and stands out for the high degree of customization developed in close collaboration with its owner. According to Arcadia, the project was shaped through an ongoing design process that focused on the owner's specific lifestyle requirements and personal preferences.

Inside the Arcadia A96's Open-Plan Layout

At just over 29m in length, the Arcadia A96 offers more than 400 square meters of usable onboard space. One of its defining features is an upper deck measuring approximately 140 square meters, among the largest available in its size category.

For this fourth A96, exchanging ideas with the owner has produced a design with a strong sense of identity, one that truly reflects his personal approach to experiencing the sea.”

The yacht's layout is centered around extensive glazing and large opening sections that create a continuous connection between interior and exterior spaces. Full-height sliding doors and expansive windows bring natural light deep into the accommodation areas while opening up views across the water.

The A96 can accommodate up to 12 guests across five cabins, supported by accommodation for five crew. A shallow draft of 1.77 meters also broadens cruising possibilities, enabling access to anchorages and coastal areas that may be inaccessible to larger superyachts.

Outdoor living is a major part of the design. With the side terraces deployed, the aft cockpit expands to almost 90 square meters, creating a substantial waterfront social area. The yacht's beam of nearly eight meters further contributes to the sense of volume throughout both the interior and exterior spaces.

Solar-Assisted Systems Support Life On Board

Like other models in the Arcadia range, the A96 was conceived around the idea of relaxed, long-range cruising rather than high-speed operation. The motor yacht is capable of speeds up to 24 knots while delivering a cruising range of approximately 2,000 nautical miles. Integrated solar panels generate around 4.5 kWh of renewable energy, helping to reduce generator usage and support onboard hotel loads. Energy can also be stored in battery systems, enabling several hours of low-noise operation at anchor.

The model has received significant industry recognition since its debut, including a Robb Report Best of the Best award in 2024 and multiple accolades at the World Yachts Trophies. It was also shortlisted for both the Eco Award and Best Interior Design categories at the 2024 Boat International Design & Innovation Awards.

The A80new: A More Compact Take on the Arcadia Formula

Alongside the success of the A96, Arcadia is seeing strong interest in the newer Arcadia A80new, a 24-meter model that brings many of the brand's signature design features into a more compact platform. While smaller than the 29-meter A96, it retains the same focus on outdoor living, extensive glazing, and a close connection to the sea, offering a more manageable yacht without sacrificing comfort.

Following its world debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, the A80new secured multiple sales in a short period, including an order from a returning Arcadia owner. Despite its smaller footprint, it delivers impressive volumes, highlighted by an 80-square-meter upper deck and accommodation for up to 10 guests across five cabins.

Like its larger sibling, the A80new features a semi-displacement hull for efficient cruising and Arcadia's hallmark floor-to-ceiling glazing to maximize natural light throughout the interior. The model serves as a more accessible entry point into the A-range while maintaining many of the qualities that have made the A96 a standout design.
