The latest Gulf Craft Nomad 101 features exterior and interior design by Phathom Design, introducing a softer architectural approach and a greater emphasis on sustainable materials. The tri-deck Gulf Craft yacht has been designed around generous living spaces, natural light and a connection between indoor and outdoor areas.
Updated exterior design focuses on outdoor living
The superyacht introduces exterior styling by Phathom Design, with an emphasis on balanced proportions and a connection between the yacht's interior and open-air spaces. Measuring 7.35m across the beam, the yacht has been designed around generous living areas and outdoor spaces, reflecting the Nomad brand's focus on extended cruising and comfortable time at sea.
Soft minimalism shapes the interior
Inside, Phathom Design has adopted a soft minimalist approach, using understated architectural lines, natural light and tactile finishes to create a warm, contemporary atmosphere. Sustainability plays a central role in the material selection, with renewable fibres including flax, hemp and bamboo incorporated alongside bio-based vegan leather. Reclaimed wood flooring and carpets manufactured from recycled fishing nets also feature, while composite stone surfaces contain recycled materials and non-toxic, bio-based lacquers are used throughout the interior. Images of the interior have not yet been released.
Accommodation for 10 guests
The motor yacht has a gross tonnage of 195 and provides accommodation for up to 10 guests across five cabins, with additional quarters for six crew members. The layout supports the model's focus on extended stays aboard, with living spaces designed to balance comfort and practicality during longer cruising periods.
Twin MAN engines deliver a 3,100nm range
Powered by twin 1,500hp MAN V12 diesel engines, the yacht has a reported top speed of 22.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. At an economical speed of eight knots, the yacht has a maximum range of 3,100 nautical miles, supported by a fuel capacity of 14,327 litres.
Final commissioning ahead of 2027 delivery
With Charisma now in the water, Gulf Craft will continue finishing work and commissioning ahead of its anticipated delivery in 2027. The launch marks another milestone for Nomad, Gulf Craft Group's adventure yacht brand, whose range extends from 65ft to 101ft.
