The concepts form part of the new ‘Numarine Atelier’ and have been created by Hot Lab, Ofist, Vallicelli Design, Sturge & Toth and Carla Guilhem Design. First introduced earlier this year, the 38XPC and 39MXPC are based on Numarine's established long-range platforms, with exterior design by Can Yalman and naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini.
Five studios bring distinct identities to the same platform
Rather than developing variations around a single house style, Numarine has drawn on design perspectives from Italy, Türkiye, the UK, Austria and the USA. Each studio was given the freedom to establish its own approach to materials, proportion and contemporary living while working within the architecture and DNA of the Classic Line, giving owners five substantially different starting points rather than a choice of colour schemes.
Five interiors give the Classic Line distinct personalities
Hot Lab takes a warm contemporary approach towards the yachts design, pairing natural-toned timber with pale stone, neutral upholstery and subtle orange accents. Rounded furniture and cabinetry soften the spaces, while geometric ceiling detailing and timber framing introduce a more structured architectural character.
Ofist introduces a richer palette of dark blue, deeper timber tones, white upholstery and cognac-coloured leather, creating stronger contrasts throughout the saloon and accommodation.
Carla Guilhem Design moves in a lighter and more decorative direction for the motor yacht, using cream tones, muted greens and blush accents alongside botanical motifs, patterned surfaces and curved forms.
Sturge & Toth adopts a calmer natural palette of pale timber, cream upholstery, woven detailing and muted greens, with dramatic dark green stone providing contrast in the bathroom.
Vallicelli Design, meanwhile, takes a clean architectural approach, using warm timber, cream upholstery, pale stone and darker detailing alongside curved furniture, ribbed surfaces and large sculpted ceiling features.
Despite their visual differences, the five concepts share several principles intended to define the Classic Line. Comfort, circulation, storage and functionality remain central to the interiors, alongside the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. Numarine has also sought an understated and timeless character across all five, with the sense of luxury created through space, proportion, materials, light and craftsmanship rather than short-lived design trends.
Wellness technology extends into everyday life on board
Numarine has also developed an optional wellness specification for bathrooms aboard its Classic Line yachts. Renderings show a timber-lined infrared sauna integrated into a bathroom environment featuring pale stone, extensive glazing and planted areas, while the wider package can incorporate circadian lighting, purified air, mineral-rich water, cold therapy and restorative shower experiences. According to the shipyard, the concept is intended to support sleep, energy, recovery and overall quality of life during extended periods aboard.
Timeless styling reframes the Numarine explorer
Beyond the interiors, the Classic Line introduces a more timeless and refined exterior language while retaining the autonomy, comfort, generous volumes, practical spaces and connection with the sea associated with Numarine's explorer yachts. Exterior designer Can Yalman says explorer capability is about how and where a yacht can be used rather than being a styling exercise, with the five interior directions demonstrating how the same underlying platform can accommodate markedly different onboard environments.
Classic Line looks to broaden Numarine's appeal
Numarine CEO Patrik von Sydow said the initial response to the Classic Line has been encouraging, particularly among owners attracted to the shipyard's philosophy and capabilities but seeking a different aesthetic expression. The Atelier approach is intended to broaden that appeal further by giving prospective owners five established creative starting points for personalization while retaining a clear Numarine identity.
