Now in Hong Kong, the first CLB65 SUV will debut at the Lantau Yacht Club Boat Show on November 6-8, followed by the Hong Kong International Boat Show on December 3-6. Inside the CLB65 SUV's Single-Level Main Deck
Inside the new yacht, the main deck places the galley between the aft deck and salon rather than treating it as a separate service space.
A flip-up window and sliding port-side door open the galley toward the aft deck of the yacht, where an electric grill and two bar stools provide another informal dining spot. A breakfast nook sits opposite the galley.
Further forward, the salon receives natural light through large windows and features an opening section in the roof, as well as a pop-up rotating television. The twin-seat helm is positioned at the forward end of the deck and keeps the controls close to the main social area rather than isolating the helm from guests.
Supertomato Studio developed the interiors of the boat, with buyers offered a choice of walnut or white oak finishes. The scheme uses neutral tones and natural materials, keeping the detailing relatively restrained against the large areas of glazing.
CLB65 SUV Sleeps Six Across Three Cabins
Accommodation is arranged across three guest cabins on the lower deck, with space for up to six guests. The full-beam owner's cabin sits at the yacht's widest point and has a king-size bed, hull-side windows and an ensuite bathroom with twin vanities and a large shower. Walnut is used aboard the first hull, although future owners can select the lighter white oak option.
A forward VIP cabin on board the motor yacht has its own bathroom and a skylight for additional natural light. The third ensuite cabin uses convertible beds, allowing the room to be adapted to different guest requirements. A separate space can serve as either a utility room or a single crew cabin.
The final specification gives the CLB65 SUV a 5.85m beam and a full-load draft of 1.59m. These measurements update some of the preliminary dimensions published earlier in the model's development.
How the SUV Layout Changes the CLB65
The main change from the established CLB65 Flybridge is immediately visible in profile. The SUV loses the upper deck and instead concentrates its living spaces around one main level, with additional emphasis placed on the stern.
Above, the aft lounge provides space for outdoor dining, a daybed and a two-seat bar. The foredeck offers a quieter alternative with sunpads and additional seating.
The result is a layout that puts more of the yacht's everyday functions within easy reach of the owner. That is particularly relevant on a 19.7m yacht intended to be handled without a large permanent crew.
CLB65 SUV Records 28-Knot Top Speed
The finished CLB65 SUV is powered by a choice of twin Caterpillar C18 diesels producing 1,136hp each or twin 1,000hp Volvo Penta D13 engines.
During sea trials with the Caterpillar installation, the yacht reached 28 knots at half load, with CL Yachts reporting a cruising speed of 21 knots. The latest technical specification lists a full-load displacement of 47,760kg, fuel capacity of approximately 4,000 liters and a 950-liter freshwater capacity.
Howard Apollonio developed the naval architecture, while Gurit worked on the structural engineering. The resin-infused composite hull uses carbon fiber reinforcement in selected areas to reduce weight. Owner-operation remains central to the technical setup. An optional concealed ZF JMS control system can be operated from either wing during close-quarters maneuvering and docking.

For buyers considering the 19.7m platform, the CLB65 Flybridge remains the alternative to the new SUV. Both offer accommodation for up to six guests across three cabins, but their deck arrangements serve different cruising priorities.
The Flybridge yacht retains an elevated outdoor deck with an additional helm and social space, giving guests another area away from the main deck. The SUV removes that upper level and places greater emphasis on the stern utility area, lower profile and single-level living arrangement.
