The Amels 60 yacht pairs exterior design by Espen Øino with a custom interior by Laura Sessa, while Damen Yachting is responsible for the naval architecture.
Project Vogue will be the first Amels 60 to carry an interior by Laura Sessa, extending a long-running relationship between the Italian designer and the Dutch shipyard. Damen Yachting says the scheme is being developed around the owner's preferences, with early renderings indicating sculptural furniture, tactile finishes, defined architectural lines and a stronger use of color than seen aboard several earlier yachts in the series.
Sessa's involvement also reconnects the latest 60m project with an earlier generation of Amels Limited Editions. She designed the interiors of the 52.34m Amels 171 series, which offered owners a choice of contemporary, white and classic interior treatments within a pre-engineered platform.
Outdoor areas on the Amels yacht include a 162-square-meter sundeck, a large aft swim platform and a foredeck that can serve as a touch-and-go helipad. A fold-down balcony connected to the owner's suite adds a private exterior area on the main deck.
The formula sits within a longer Amels history of developing semi-custom yachts around established technical platforms. The discontinued 74m Amels 242 moved the concept further up the size range, offering 1,790GT of gross tonnage and a dedicated 240-square-meter owner's deck rather than a conventional owner's suite.
This latest sale is another clear indication of how strongly the Amels 60 continues to resonate with the market. Project Vogue has an internal volume of 853GT and accommodation for up to 12 guests, supported by 12 crew plus the captain. The standard Amels 60 superyacht arrangement provides six guest cabins, with the owner's suite positioned forward on the main deck and guest accommodation on the lower deck. The six-cabin capacity has also appeared elsewhere in the Amels portfolio, such as the Amels 171, which also accommodated 12 guests in six cabins.
Damen Yachting has not released a Project Vogue-specific engine specification in the sale announcement. The standard Amels 60 platform uses twin MTU 12V 2000 M72 engines and is rated for a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, with a range of around 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots.
Project Vogue completed hull construction in Gdynia, Poland, before arriving in Vlissingen in July 2025 for outfitting. Her sale adds another contract to the Amels 60 program, which has built a growing fleet since the first unit, Come Together, was delivered in 2022. Among its sisterships is Entourage, a winner at the 2024 World Superyacht Awards, while the recently delivered QU2 is the latest Amels 60 to join the fleet.
