Design & Construction
Designed around a planing composite hull and superstructure she features a 22'4" beam and a 4'1" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 178 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the second yacht built on the AB 110 design. Launched in May 2025 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The AB110/02 has a bold, performance-driven profile and thoroughly modern detailing - built for speed, agility, and access to hard-to-reach anchorages and coastal zones. The forward-angled windshield improves visibility by reducing glare from the glazed surfaces, and also allows the flybridge to be extended for more usable space. From the water, this adjustment is subtle, preserving the yacht’s sharp, sporty silhouette.
The exterior layout includes a full-width beach club aft, connected to the main cockpit by twin staircases, and a forward lounge area set into the hull, offering a recessed and protected spot to relax. The teak decking features light seams that extend continuously from the foredeck through the cockpit and saloon, up to the helm and even through the stairwell to the lower deck, where it continues as a wall and ceiling finish. It’s an architectural detail that unites the entire yacht, visually and spatially.
Carbon fiber has been integrated throughout, both structurally and aesthetically. The symmetrical staircases leading up from the cockpit are a particularly eye-catching example, with their Escher-like geometry and sculptural form. At the top, the sundeck is left fully customisable, giving scope for tailored layouts to match individual preferences.
Aerodynamic considerations also played a part in shaping the exterior. Detailed airflow analysis helped refine the structure over the coachroof, contributing to both performance and visual clarity. Glass surfaces have been engineered to reduce weight while incorporating UVA filters, helping limit solar heat gain and improve interior efficiency.
Interior Design
The interior of AB110/02 was developed by Marco Casamonti and the Archea Associati team, working in close collaboration with AB Yachts. Their shared aim was to create an environment with the spatial openness of a loft, paired with sharp detailing and a restrained, tactile palette. Throughout the yacht, the design language prioritises minimalism, acoustic comfort, and flowing continuity between interior and exterior areas.
As soon as you step inside the main saloon, you’re met by a sculptural galley and bar unit that anchors the space. This custom-built piece features a curved, slatted lacquered front and a shaped top by Inalco. Above, ceiling channels mimic wave motion, reinforcing the theme of movement. The galley is positioned transversely near the entrance, and its design contributes to the yacht’s seamless connection between functional and social zones.
A round dining table from Baxter sets the tone in the dining space, flanked by modular seating that can be reconfigured for different occasions. These low, pouffe-style sofas lend a casual, lounge-like atmosphere to the saloon, and all furniture is free-standing to keep the space flexible. A mirrored partition with concealed storage hides a television and separates the guest area from the technical core of the yacht.
The helm station at the forward end of the main deck is a striking piece of design, integrating all navigation instruments into a clean, leather-clad console. Poltrona Frau leather is used extensively, and the lighting system responds to speed changes, subtly shifting ambiance depending on how the yacht is being run. Natural light floods the space through the forward windscreen, while twin staircases flanking the console lead below.
Material choices are deliberate and refined. Smooth leather panels line the main deck walls, while suede is used below for softness and sound dampening. Timber finishes feature a brushed relief texture, highlighting both grain and dimensionality while serving a functional role in reducing acoustic reflection. The overall palette of greys, teaks, black and deep blue tones creates a quietly sophisticated mood throughout.
