Designed around a planing composite hull and superstructure she features a 6.5m beam and a 1.23m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 72 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the AB 787 design.

Powered by 3 x diesel MAN (V12 2000) 12-cylinder 2,000hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Al Thakhira is capable of reaching a top speed of 56 knots, and comfortably cruises at 50 knots. With her 9,400 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 500 nautical miles at 50 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
