Designed for experienced American owners John and Jeanette Staluppi, the new flagship has exterior styling and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design, while H2 Yacht Design is responsible for the interiors. The latest reveal gives a clearer picture of how Bilgin's established 80m platform is being developed around extended periods on board, long-range cruising and a highly personalized owner brief.
Project Bond Interior Takes a Modern Art Deco Direction
H2 Yacht Design has taken a modern interpretation of art deco as the starting point for Project Bond's interior, drawing on designs that had previously caught the owners' attention.
According to H2 founder and creative director Jonny Horsfield, the owners had already experienced one of the studio's contemporary interiors but were particularly drawn to two earlier H2 projects with a stronger art deco character. That reference has shaped a richer aesthetic for Bond, although the brief places considerable emphasis on day-to-day usability. The Staluppis are expected to spend several weeks at a time aboard, making comfort and practicality important considerations rather than secondary details.
Horsfield said the intention for the yacht was to create an interior with a strong sense of occasion without following current styling trends. The result, according to the designer, is intended to have a more enduring, classic character.
Large areas of glazing and long sightlines are central to the arrangement, allowing natural light deeper into the accommodation and maintaining visual links with the sea. H2 has also developed the enclosed and open-air spaces under the same design direction, with deck layouts adjusted around how the owners expect to entertain, relax and live aboard.
Inside Project Bond's Saloon-to-Beach-Club Connection
One of Project Bond's most significant architectural features is an open staircase running directly between the main saloon and beach club. Horsfield describes the connection as unusual for a motor yacht of this size, opening two major social areas to one another rather than treating the beach club as a largely independent space on the lower deck.
The main saloon also plays a central role in establishing the yacht's modern art deco identity. Renderings released with the announcement indicate a formal interior treatment with sculptural furniture, layered lighting and substantial decorative detailing, while retaining the generous glazing that runs through much of the superyacht.
The layout reflects a broader focus on circulation and social spaces. Rather than designing individual rooms in isolation, H2 has worked around how the owners and their guests are expected to move through the yacht and use different areas over longer stays.
Owner's Deck Shaped Around the Staluppis' Lifestyle
Jeanette Staluppi has also played a significant role in the development of Project Bond, particularly in shaping its entertainment and relaxation areas. John Staluppi has singled out the owner's deck bar as one of the spaces he is most looking forward to using, describing it as somewhere guests can gather for conversation.
That emphasis offers some insight into the wider owner brief. Simon Graham of FGI Yacht Group, who is acting as the owner's representative, said Bond was conceived as a yacht for extensive travel with family and friends rather than simply another addition to Staluppi's long history of yacht ownership.

The yacht is therefore being developed around extended residence aboard, with substantial volume, natural light and access to cruising grounds important to the owners.
Project Bond has a gross tonnage of 2,150GT and a 13m beam, placing considerable interior volume at H2's disposal. Its steel hull and aluminum superstructure also support the full-displacement configuration expected of a yacht intended for long-distance operation.
How Far Can the 82m Project Bond Cruise?
Project Bond has also been engineered with the American market in mind. A draft of 3.6m is intended to improve access to cruising areas where deeper 80m-plus yachts may face restrictions, while still retaining ocean-going range. Bilgin quotes more than 5,000 nautical miles at an economical speed and a fuel capacity of 195,000 liters.
Twin MTU 16V 4000 M73 engines, each producing 2,560kW, are expected to deliver a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
The yacht has a displacement of approximately 1,730 tonnes at a 3.5m draft, with a water capacity of 45,000 liters. Unique Yacht Design is responsible for both the naval architecture and exterior design.
Bilgin has positioned Bond as a highly individualized development of its larger-yacht platform rather than a fixed-formula project. Horsfield said the interior differences possible within the Bilgin 263 series allow each yacht to take on a distinct identity, adding that Bond's layout represents what he regards as the most developed version of the platform to date.
What Else Is Bilgin Yachts Building?
While the 82m Project Bond will become Bilgin's new flagship, according to YachBuyer MarketWatch, the yard remains active further down its range.
The 53m Bilgin 173 II is one of its current semi-custom projects, with the second unit, NB90, sold earlier in 2026. Designed by Unique Yacht Design with interiors by Hot Lab, the sub-500GT yacht accommodates 12 guests in six cabins and is designed for long-range cruising, with a quoted maximum range of 4,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Bilgin also continues to offer the 53m Bilgin 173 I and 52m Bilgin 170. Both use steel hulls and aluminum superstructures, accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins and are designed for approximately 5,000-nautical-mile cruising ranges.
