Design & Construction
Designed around a deep vee GRP hull and superstructure she features a 5.83m beam and a 1.02m draft. The yacht is built over 1 decks with an internal volume of 69 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the twenty-second yacht built on the Azimut 86S design.
Exterior Design
The Azimut 86S was designed by Stefano Righini as a high-speed sports yacht with a distinctly aggressive profile, and Annelise carries all the defining elements of that design language. The yacht’s long, low silhouette sits close to the water, while the sharply tapered bow and deeply swept hardtop create a profile that looks fast even at anchor.
The hull lines are heavily influenced by performance boat styling. A shallow-V planing hull with pronounced spray rails and chines helps generate lift at speed, while the narrow bow entry cuts cleanly through the water. The result is a 26.5m (86.9ft) yacht with the stance of a much smaller performance cruiser despite her substantial internal volume.
One of the yacht’s most recognisable design features is the glazing arrangement. Large mirrored “shark-fin” windows dominate the superstructure and flow into a long horizontal glass section running aft, visually stretching the profile and bringing large amounts of natural light into the interior. Circular hull portholes and larger lower-deck glazing further soften the hull sides and break up the metallic silver finish.
The hardtop arches dramatically aft from the windscreen, creating a sleek canopy over the cockpit while preserving the yacht’s aerodynamic shape. Unlike a traditional raised flybridge yacht, the 86S keeps the upper structure low and integrated into the overall profile, reinforcing the yacht’s sporty identity.
Outdoor guest areas focus on fast Mediterranean cruising and day use. The aft cockpit links directly to the swim platform and provides a sheltered social space close to the water, while the foredeck includes sunpads positioned low into the deck line to preserve the yacht’s streamlined appearance. Side decks remain narrow and unobtrusive so the visual emphasis stays on the sweeping central superstructure rather than bulky walkways.
