The 26.28m motor yacht Bella Luna was delivered to her owners in 2015 by Italian shipyard Monte Carlo Yachts. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Nuvolari Lenard, while Monte Carlo Yachts is responsible for her naval architecture.

Key Features

  • Flybridge Jacuzzi
  • Hydraulic swim platform
  • Large foredeck lounge
  • Fold-out saloon balcony

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.56m beam and a 1.9m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 134 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Bella Luna’s exterior design comes from Nuvolari Lenard, and the Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 86 platform still looks distinctive years after launch. The profile combines classic proportions with modern detailing, led by a high flared bow, flowing superstructure lines, and a long flybridge that stretches deep over the aft deck. The dark hull finish and extensive glazing give the yacht a sharper, lower visual stance on the water, while the curved glass-and-steel fashion plates around the cockpit remain one of MCY’s signature styling details.

The raised pilothouse configuration helps break up the yacht’s volume and creates a cleaner side profile than many flybridge yachts in this size range. Along the hull sides, the overlapping circular portlights bring extra character and also feed natural light into the lower accommodation spaces.

Outdoor living is spread across several well-separated deck areas. The aft cockpit centres around an alfresco dining setup connected directly to the saloon, while the fold-out balcony beside the main deck lounge strengthens the indoor-outdoor connection at anchor. Forward, the foredeck works as a second social zone with seating, sunpads, and optional shade coverage.

Up on the flybridge, Bella Luna carries one of the largest upper decks in her class. The space combines a Jacuzzi, large sunpads, open seating, and dining areas beneath the hardtop, leaving plenty of room for guests to spread out during long days onboard. A hydraulic swim platform aft improves access to the water and supports tender operations cleanly without interrupting the yacht’s flowing stern lines.

Interior Design

Bella Luna’s interior follows a warmer and more relaxed direction than many high-gloss production yachts of this period. Large windows bring strong natural light into the main saloon, helping soften the darker woods and neutral-toned furnishings throughout the interior.

The main saloon combines a comfortable lounge space with a separate dining area, giving the yacht a layout that feels practical and easy to use without becoming overly formal. Contemporary furniture, soft textures, and restrained detailing create a calm atmosphere suited to charter use, while the fold-out balcony beside the saloon adds ventilation and another direct link to the sea.

The raised pilothouse arrangement allows good separation between guest and operational areas, while the flybridge above acts as a second social hub with panoramic views across the water. Technology onboard includes Starlink connectivity, smart televisions throughout the guest cabins, IP TV systems, Apple TV integration in the VIP suite, and stabilisers both underway and at anchor.

Accommodation

Bella Luna accommodates up to 10 guests across four lower-deck guest cabins and also carries up to four crew onboard.

The full-beam owner’s suite sits amidships and makes strong use of the MCY 86’s beam. The cabin includes a king-size bed, office area, seating space with sofas and table, dressing room, and a 42-inch Smart TV with IP TV integration. The en suite bathroom includes a separate shower and bidet.

Forward, the VIP cabin features a queen-size bed, office desk, large wardrobes, Apple TV and IP TV connectivity, plus an en suite bathroom with shower facilities.

The remaining guest accommodation consists of two twin cabins, each with en suite bathrooms, wardrobes, and additional Pullman berths to increase guest capacity when needed. These flexible arrangements make the yacht well suited to families or mixed charter groups.

Crew accommodation supports a staff of four, allowing Bella Luna to operate comfortably for extended charter itineraries throughout the Mediterranean.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12-1800 (D2862LE436)) 1,800hp engines, motor yacht Bella Luna is capable of reaching a top speed of 30 knots, and comfortably cruises at 22 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
