  • XENTA dynamic positioning

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing carbon fibre hull and superstructure she features a 5.86m beam and a 1.4m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 96 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the ninth yacht built on the Pershing 8X design. She was delivered to her owners in September 2020.

Exterior Design

Crash is based on the Pershing 8X platform, so the yacht carries the sharp, low-profile styling that defines Fulvio De Simoni’s X-Generation series. Her metallic silver finish works closely with the exposed carbon-fibre detailing, giving the 25.55m (83.8ft) hull a fast, technical appearance even at rest. The profile stays deliberately low and stretched, while the sweeping side wings arch back over the cockpit and conceal the staircase to the sportbridge within the portside structure.

The superstructure flows into a sharply raked windscreen and a hidden sport-flybridge arrangement, preserving the clean aerodynamic shape without adding bulk. Long hull glazing sections cut through the metallic topsides as well as the superstructure, helping break up the visual mass while bringing more natural light into the interior spaces.

Forward, the bow carries a sharp plumb form designed to slice efficiently through the water at high speed. The foredeck combines integrated sunpads with a lounge arrangement, while recessed fittings and hidden canopy systems maintain the uninterrupted deck lines. Aft, the open transom drops into an electro-hydraulic garage capable of storing both a Williams Sportjet 345 tender and a Sea-Doo, so the beach club area remains clean and uncluttered when toys are deployed.

The cockpit includes an exterior dining space connected directly to the saloon, while the sportbridge adds another elevated social area with dining and helm controls. Surface drives, six-blade Rolla propellers and the exposed high-performance hardware at the stern reinforce the yacht’s aggressive performance character.

Interior Design

Crash balances the hard-edged exterior styling with a calmer, more architectural interior. Large side windows pull natural light deep into the saloon, while the low furniture profile keeps sightlines open from aft seating areas through to the helm. Pale flooring contrasts against darker cabinetry and trim, giving the main deck a clean contemporary look without feeling cold or clinical.

The main saloon uses an open-plan arrangement with lounge seating positioned opposite concealed entertainment systems, while the helm integrates naturally into the forward end of the deckhouse rather than feeling separated from the guest spaces. The glazing shape from the exterior becomes a strong feature inside too, framing wide outward views while strengthening the yacht’s low, elongated feel.

A full Miele galley supports longer stays onboard, while Crestron domotics, KVH TracVision systems and chilled-water air conditioning bring a more advanced technical layer beneath the minimalist styling. Twin Onan generators, Parker watermaker systems and XENTA controls also support owner operation and extended cruising capability.

The yacht includes a dedicated media room in addition to the guest accommodation, creating a separate interior retreat that works well for film viewing, gaming or quieter evenings onboard.

Accommodation

Crash accommodates up to seven guests across three suites, including a full-beam owner’s cabin, a VIP cabin and a double guest cabin. The layout combines lower-deck privacy with strong natural light thanks to the elongated hull glazing integrated into the Pershing 8X profile.

The owner’s suite takes advantage of the yacht’s 96GT internal volume with a broad beam arrangement and large side windows, while the VIP and guest cabins continue the same modern styling seen throughout the main deck spaces. The additional media room gives the accommodation plan more flexibility as well, particularly for family cruising or extended stays onboard.

Crew accommodation is arranged aft for up to three crew members, allowing guest areas to remain private while supporting efficient service onboard.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by 1 x diesel MTU (16V 2000 M96L) 2,638hp engines, motor yacht Crash is capable of reaching a top speed of 45 knots, and comfortably cruises at 38 knots. With her 6,201 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 320 nautical miles. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
