Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement wood hull and superstructure she features a 27'11" beam and a 6'1" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 492 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in June 2014 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2014.
Exterior Design
Elada is a 45m (147.6ft) semi-displacement motor yacht shaped around a distinctive reverse bow, which adds length to the waterline and creates extra volume forward. The curved sheerline introduces softness to the angular geometry of the glazing and superstructure, lending balance to her modern profile.
Long bands of dark hull and deck glazing run the length of the yacht, set within bright white bulwarks and contrasted by sharp turquoise-blue accents. These highlights frame key features such as the sundeck roof, transom, and waterline, drawing attention to Elada’s layered, streamlined design.
The foredeck layout includes a sunken spa pool and relaxed seating area, creating an additional outdoor zone that remains protected while under way. Hullside openings at main deck level appear to function as integrated boarding gates, maintaining a clean exterior finish.
Extended overhangs on the upper decks enhance the sculpted superstructure and offer practical shade for the aft areas below. The sun deck features a second glass-walled jacuzzi, a sociable wraparound bar, and expansive sunbathing zones, offering panoramic views and a sense of open-air comfort.
At the stern, a folding transom door opens onto a broad beach club. This waterside lounge includes a bar, TV, curved shower, and dayhead, with the tender launched via a lifting shell door. Once deployed, the open transom creates a generous space for sunbathing and relaxing right at the water’s edge.
On the bridge deck aft, alfresco dining is arranged around a table for 12, with full-height sliding doors connecting the space directly to the interior upper saloon. This allows the area to function as either an extended entertaining space or a separate, private deck.
Beneath the surface, Elada fine-entry reverse bow and hard-chined hull are designed for efficient cruising. Her extended waterline supports a maximum speed of 18 knots, delivering strong performance and low fuel consumption compared to conventionally shaped hulls of similar size.
Interior Design
Inside, high-gloss veneers and sculptural woodwork create a warm, textured aesthetic, with detailing that carries consistently through guest and communal areas.
The design evolves across the decks. On the lower and main levels, the tone is elegant and traditional, with dark wood finishes and a more formal style. Moving upward, the bridge deck becomes more casual and contemporary, introducing lighter tones and more open layouts.
Interior finishes include an extensive selection of fine woods such as zebrano, walnut, wenge, macassar, and imbuia, complemented by Tabu, palisandro, beli and madrone burl. Indirect lighting and subtle ornamentation enhance the contrast and rhythm of the surfaces, with motifs such as ribbed and scalloped textures running throughout.
Select materials such as honey onyx and wild agate are used for visual impact in the main suites, while soft furnishings and carpets follow a unified scheme that can be refreshed if required. Large windows and multiple skylights bring in plenty of natural light, enhancing the spacious feel of the living areas.
The wheelhouse reflects the yacht’s exterior styling, with reverse-raked windows and strong lines that tie in with the sundeck architecture. This space offers wide visibility and a distinctly modern atmosphere.
The upper saloon is one of Elada’s most flexible areas, with a large skylight above and sliding glass doors that open fully to the aft deck. This space can be used as an entertaining area, indoor lounge, or even a secondary owner’s suite, complete with a private office and bathroom. The king-size bed folds away when not in use, turning the room into an open, multifunctional living space that shifts easily between social and private use.
Accommodation
Elada accommodates up to 12 guests across six cabins, offering a flexible layout with multiple options for owners and VIPs.
Forward on the main deck, a full-beam suite includes a large bathroom, dressing room, and private office. A central skylight above the bed draws in light from the pool deck above.
A second full-beam cabin is located on the bridge deck and can function as an alternative master. When used in cabin mode, this level becomes a private owner’s deck, with a full suite including ensuite and dedicated lounge space. With the bed stowed, this area transforms into an indoor saloon or entertainment area connected to the aft deck.
The lower deck houses four additional guest cabins, all finished to the same high standard, with varied wood detailing and integrated lighting features. The overall atmosphere is elegant and consistent, with subtle variation in tone and layout.
She is also capable of carrying up to 11 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 1,915hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Elada is capable of reaching a top speed of 19 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 6,882 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,900 nautical miles at 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
Elada also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
