Launched in Antalya in December 2025 as hull NB83, Ada follows Tamasha, the first yacht from the Bilgin 170 series, which was delivered in May. The steel-and-aluminum yacht sits just below the 500 GT mark at 499 GT and has been developed as a long-range, semi-custom platform with an emphasis on outdoor space and extended periods on board.
52m Ada Enters Service as Second Bilgin 170
Ada measures 52m with a 9.25m beam and 2.6m draft at full load. Exterior design and naval architecture are by Unique Yacht Design, while Milan-based Hot Lab developed the interior.
The displacement yacht accommodates up to 12 guests and is powered by twin Caterpillar IMO Tier 2 engines. Bilgin quotes a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 10 knots and a range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles at cruising speed and half load. Fuel capacity stands at 55,000 liters, with 11,000 liters of fresh water carried aboard.
Ada was originally sold in November 2023 before arriving at Bilgin's Antalya facility in June 2024 for outfitting. Her December 2025 launch followed Tamasha into the water by around two months, establishing the second completed example of Bilgin's latest 52m platform.
Bilgin 170 Targets 60m-Style Exterior Space Below 500 GT
The Bilgin 170 was developed around a clear target: to place exterior areas more commonly associated with yachts around 60m within a sub-500 gross ton package.
That approach is particularly apparent on Ada's upper decks. According to Bilgin, the sundeck is among the largest offered on a yacht in this size category, with an eight-person Jacuzzi, dining area and bar. The bridge deck has been extended by 1.5m, while the foredeck becomes an additional guest area once the rescue boat has been deployed. An enlarged swim platform increases the usable space close to the water.
The 499 GT volume also gives the Bilgin 170 approximately 20 percent more usable space than yachts around the 48m mark, according to the yard. Ada's accommodation includes an owner's suite on the extended bridge deck, placing the principal cabin higher in the yacht and close to exterior areas.
The arrangement builds on Bilgin's earlier 163 platform but introduces a more traditional bow profile intended to free up additional exterior space. The overall brief places less emphasis on squeezing the maximum number of individual rooms aboard and more on circulation, outdoor living and longer stays at anchor.
Inside the Sophisticated 52m Bilgin 170 Ada
Hot Lab has taken a restrained approach inside the superyacht, working with varied textures, subtle tonal changes and carefully selected finishes rather than strong visual contrasts. The design studio's approach centers on creating spaces intended to remain relevant beyond current interior trends. That direction fits the wider philosophy behind the Bilgin 170, where proportion, usability and long-term ownership have influenced both the exterior and interior planning.
Large guest areas also support the lifestyle around which Ada has already been used. Following delivery, the yacht spent the summer moving between anchorages in the Aegean and Mediterranean, with the yard pointing to outdoor dining, long periods at anchor and time aboard with family and guests as central to her first season.
How Owner Requests Are Developing the Bilgin 170 Series
Bilgin has also used successive yachts to introduce practical changes that began as individual owner requests. Forward anchor observation pockets and an oversized gangway, usually associated with substantially larger motor yachts, have become established features of the series. Ada also has a dedicated garbage room in the bow, intended to improve day-to-day crew operations during longer cruising periods.
The strategy gives Bilgin scope to alter the character and detailing of each yacht while retaining a common engineering base. Tamasha, for example, immediately distinguished herself through a light brown hull chosen specifically for her owner, while Ada takes a different visual direction despite sharing the same underlying 52m platform.

Development of the series is continuing. A fourth Bilgin 170 hull, NB85, was sold earlier in 2026 and is scheduled for delivery in 2027, according to YachtBuyer MarketWatch.
From Ada to Project Bond: Bilgin's Latest Yard Activity
Ada's sistership Tamasha became the first Bilgin 170 to be delivered in May 2026 after launching the previous October. The yacht introduced the new generation of Bilgin's 52m offering and carries the same 499 GT platform, Unique Yacht Design exterior and naval architecture, and Hot Lab interior design.
At the opposite end of the yard's current range, work is progressing on the 82m Project Bond, now the largest yacht in Bilgin's history. Sold during the 2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show and being built for John and Jeanette Staluppi, the 2,150 GT flagship has a 13m beam, design and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design and interiors by H2 Yacht Design. Bilgin revealed the first detailed interior images in August.
Bilgin's 80m Al Reem, delivered in 2025 as the third and final Bilgin 263, also returned to the headlines this year after winning the Motor Yacht Over 60 Metres category at the 2026 International Yacht & Aviation Awards.
