Delivered in 2005, JusMad is a 23.9m motor yacht for sale built by American shipyard Ocean Alexander. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Destry Darr Designs, while Ed Monk Yacht Design is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.1m beam and a 1.83m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 115 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the fourth yacht built on the 78 Motoryacht design.
Exterior Design
Measuring just under 24m (78ft), JusMad makes a striking impression whether docked or underway. Her profile is defined by clean lines and generous glazing, with dark-tinted e-glass windows wrapping around the main deck and upper level to maximise visibility and light inside. At the stern, a wide boarding platform provides safe and level access from the dock, leading up to a shaded cockpit protected by the overhanging boat deck. Here, guests can relax on a full-beam transom settee with a table suited to alfresco drinks or casual dining. A wet bar is tucked to starboard, while steps to port offer access to the upper deck.
Direct access to the engine room and crew area is available via a companionway within the boat deck structure, keeping service traffic separate from guest spaces. On the boat deck itself, just aft of the skylounge, a davit crane enables easy handling of the tender, making this area practical as well as private.
Ocean Alexander’s construction prioritises structural strength without excess weight. The hull design, developed by Ed Monk Jr., was tank-tested for optimal performance, while aluminium I-beams and stainless steel brackets are used throughout high-stress areas including deck supports and stringers, reinforced with carbon fibre where required. This mix of GRP and lightweight metals delivers both durability and efficiency.
Interior Design
The main deck interior has been arranged to enhance openness and guest circulation. Immediately forward of the aft bulkhead, the main saloon sets the tone with expansive views through large windows, broken only by slim mullions with integrated sconce lighting. Overhead, recessed lighting adds atmosphere, while varied seating options - including settees and armchairs - make this a sociable, comfortable gathering spot. Entertainment systems and a built-in beverage bar are housed aft within the cabinetry, while a conveniently located day head on the port side ensures guests needn’t head below.
Forward to starboard is the galley, which takes full advantage of the yacht’s beam. An extensive granite countertop runs the length of the space, paired with high-end appliances and generous drawer and locker storage. Centrally positioned, the galley can easily serve both the cockpit and the internal dining area. Just ahead, the forward part of the main deck is arranged as an informal dining and lounge space.
Upstairs, the skylounge becomes a focal point. The enclosed pilothouse includes premium helm seating and a full suite of navigation electronics, with climate control ensuring year-round usability. A U-shaped seating area with a dining table caters for at least six, and a glass door aft opens to the boat deck. A day head is also included on this level, adding convenience for extended time spent in the lounge. The overall finish throughout is consistent with Ocean Alexander’s reputation - with carefully matched tropical hardwoods and refined stone and stainless detailing underscoring the craftsmanship.
Accommodation
Accommodation on board JusMad is arranged across three guest cabins on the lower deck, each with its own en suite. A central staircase forward of the main deck dining area leads down to a shared companionway, which links all three suites.
The master stateroom is positioned aft and set slightly deeper into the hull, with entry through double doors and a few additional steps. Spanning the full beam of the yacht, this space includes a centreline king-size bed, ample walkaround space, and generous storage. The ensuite is equally well-appointed, maintaining the yacht’s high standards of fit and finish.
Forward lies the VIP stateroom, which features a queen-size walkaround berth and substantial built-in storage, including a cedar-lined hanging locker. This cabin mirrors the scale and luxury typically found in master suites on smaller yachts. Between these two, on the port side, is a twin guest cabin with side-by-side single berths separated by a nightstand. Like the others, it enjoys a private bathroom with shower.
Separate crew quarters are accessed via the cockpit and engine room area, ensuring complete privacy for guests. Designed to attract and retain professional crew, this area is finished to a high standard, with its own kitchenette including a sink, fridge, and microwave. The layout supports a crew of two, enabling smooth operations without impacting guest experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V2000M91) 1,500hp engines, motor yacht JusMad is capable of reaching a top speed of 24 knots, and comfortably cruises at 18 knots. With her 8,517 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 450 nautical miles at 18 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
