  • Sundeck lounge seating
  • Wraparound saloon windows
  • Private master staircase

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6m beam and a 1.91m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 73 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Happiness II is a 24.39m (80ft) Grand Harbour motor yacht with naval architecture and exterior design by Sparkman & Stephens, so the profile leans toward a traditional, full-bodied cruising form rather than a sharp planing look. The hull carries a rounded bow and soft lines, while the superstructure steps gently upward to a raised pilothouse, giving the yacht a steady, balanced stance on the water.

The walkaround side decks are wide and protected by solid bulwarks and teak-capped rails, so movement around the yacht feels secure. Oval portlights run along the hull, while the main deck uses large, rounded rectangular windows that wrap around the saloon, bringing in light and giving the yacht a clear visual link to the water.

Aft, the main deck centres on an open dining area with a full table and built-in seating, positioned under the overhang for shade. Above, the sundeck offers a more relaxed setup with fixed white sofas and loose seating, creating a quiet space for views rather than a heavily equipped entertainment deck. The foredeck remains clean and practical, with open space around the anchoring gear and enough room for light seating.

Interior Design

The interior uses a classic layout with strong wood detailing throughout, balanced by lighter soft furnishings to keep the space from feeling heavy. Gloss-finished timber frames the walls, cabinetry, and window surrounds, while cream panels and upholstery soften the look.

The main saloon runs as a single open space, with a curved sofa and glass coffee table set aft, while the dining area sits forward with seating for up to eight. Large windows on both sides keep the space bright, and the low furniture helps maintain clear sightlines across the room.

Joinery is consistent across the yacht, with cabinetry, door frames, and trim all matched in tone. The finish leans toward a traditional style, though the lighter fabrics, simple ceiling panels, and modern lighting keep it very current.

Accommodation

Superyacht Happiness II accommodates up to 7 guests across 4 cabins, with space for 3 crew.

The owner’s cabin includes a king-size berth and benefits from a private staircase that links directly to the main saloon, creating a more direct route between living and sleeping areas.

The VIP cabin sits forward and includes a queen-size walkaround bed, along with a skylight that brings natural light into the space.

Additional guest cabins include a twin and a smaller cabin, allowing for flexible use depending on group size. All guest spaces maintain the same wood finish and soft furnishings seen in the main areas.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3406) 800hp engines, motor yacht Lady Sapphire is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
