Delivered in 2023, the Princess X80 model is an award-winning yacht designed by Princess Yachts and Olesinski Design. The 25m model combines highly versitile living spaces with sporty performance, featuring accommodation for 10 guests and a signature “Superfly” deck.
Award-winning X-Class styling delivers superyacht-inspired volume
As part of Princess Yachts’ innovative X-Class range, the yacht was designed to bridge the gap between traditional flybridge yachts and larger superyacht concepts. Her sleek exterior styling by Olesinski Design combines sporty proportions with impressive internal volume, while Princess handled both the naval architecture and interior design in-house. Built with a GRP hull and superstructure, Chase features a 6.06m beam, 1.78m draft and an internal volume of 73GT spread across two decks.
The X80 platform has also received major industry recognition, winning at both the Motor Boat Awards 2024 and the YachtBuyer Awards 2023, where the model was inducted into the YachtBuyer Hall of Fame, an accolade reserved exclusively for production yachts that achieve a flawless 5 out of 5-star score across every category of YachtBuyer’s independent sea trials and evaluation process. Covering design and build quality, interior accommodation, helm stations, on-deck features and value for money, the award recognises yachts that set a benchmark for the wider industry.
The “Superfly” deck creates standout outdoor living spaces
One of the defining features of the motor yacht is its expansive “Superfly” deck, which significantly increases usable exterior space compared to conventional flybridge yachts in this size category. The yacht pairs this with multiple outdoor lounge and dining areas, creating a highly social setup for entertaining and extended cruising alike. At water level, a hydraulic beach-club platform improves sea access and tender handling, while the full-beam sky lounge provides panoramic views and an additional all-weather social hub.
Bright interiors and five en-suite cabins support extended cruising
The boat accommodates up to 10 guests across five en suite cabins, including a main-deck owner’s suite. Four further guest cabins are located below deck, benefitting from the yacht’s broad beam and efficient layout. Large windows and open-plan living areas create a bright contemporary atmosphere throughout the interior, while accommodation for up to three crew supports relaxed long-range cruising.
Twin MAN power supports fast and comfortable cruising
Powered by twin MAN V12 1900 engines, Chase reaches top speeds of 31 knots and cruises comfortably at 25 knots. Her planing hull delivers smooth and efficient performance underway, while onboard features including Sleipner Vector-Fin stabilisers, bow and stern thrusters and tropical-spec air conditioning are designed to enhance comfort and ease of operation during extended cruising.
