Key Features

  • Main deck master suite
  • Gloss cherry wood interiors
  • Upper deck sky lounge with views
  • Shaded al fresco dining for 10

Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 26'4" beam and a 8'5" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 395 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the fourth yacht built on the Princess 40M design. She was completed at Princess' South Yard yard in United Kingdom where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in March 2015.

Exterior Design

Ace 2 was delivered in 2015 as a 40.2m (132ft) tri-deck superyacht and remains the largest model built by Princess Yachts. She has a planing hull form constructed in GRP, with a GRP superstructure above. The hull is painted in cream, complemented by a white superstructure and a black boot top line for contrast. Teak decking runs throughout the exterior.

Her bow flares outward to provide stability and a softer ride in varying sea conditions. At the stern, a wide swim platform gives access to the water. The transom folds down to extend the space into a beach club lined in teak, doubling as a garage for jet skis and a tender. A dive station is also integrated here. Side staircases and a passerelle connect the swim platform to the main deck.

The decks above are arranged for outdoor living. The main deck aft features bench seating, dining space, and a bar. Balconies fold out from the main salon to open the interior to the sea. The foredeck is equipped with heavy-duty anchor gear, bollards, and a bosun’s locker, as well as wing stations to assist with docking.

The bridge deck aft supports a full alfresco dining table for all guests, with a grill and refrigeration close at hand. Above, the sundeck offers open seating, loose furniture, a workout area, a bar with barbecue, and even a DJ station.

Ace 2 combines a planing GRP hull with high performance, offering smooth navigation and efficient water slicing.

Interior Design

Princess collaborated with Fendi Casa on the design of Ace 2’s interior, blending glossy cherry wood and light-toned finishes with branded furniture, fabrics, and accessories. Throughout the yacht, carefully chosen marbles and onyx panels add variety, with each bathroom and cabin showcasing a different stone.

The main salon is a bright space with large windows, folding side doors, and fold-out balconies. Integrated ceiling speakers and a rise-and-fall TV are included. A dining area for 10 guests sits forward, centred on a Macassar ebony table, with a backlit onyx bulkhead panel behind. Service is supported by a dumbwaiter linking the decks and a large galley equipped with Miele professional appliances, twin refrigerators and freezers, and a wine fridge.

The main foyer features details such as leather-inlaid doors, and includes a day head as well as staircases leading to the guest cabins and bridge deck.

On the upper deck, the sky lounge is designed as a relaxed family space. Expansive windows brighten the room, where an L-shaped sofa and Fendi Casa chairs face a large TV. Additional space is set aside for leisure, including a racing simulator. Aft doors lead out to the bridge deck dining area.

The bridge itself is arranged with matching helm chairs and three large forward windows. Side doors allow direct deck access. A captain’s office and ensuite cabin are positioned just aft.

Accommodation

Ace 2 accommodates 10 guests across five staterooms, with quarters for seven crew.

The full-beam owner’s suite is on the main deck. It begins with a private office and dressing area, then opens into the stateroom itself, with a king bed, seating area, and his-and-hers wardrobes. The ensuite bathroom features a jetted tub, shower, double vanity, heated towel rails, and carefully matched marble finishes.

On the lower deck are four additional ensuite cabins. Two are arranged as VIP suites, one full beam with a desk, seating, and walk-in closet, the other notable for its large ensuite with a full bathtub. The remaining two cabins are mirrored, each with generous proportions and bathrooms finished in their own stone scheme.

Crew accommodation is forward, with a mess and cabins for up to seven crew members. The captain has a separate ensuite cabin and office located directly behind the bridge.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M93L) 3,500hp engines, motor yacht Ace 2 is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 7,752 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,100 nautical miles at 18 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.

Ace 2 features a main deck master suite, an upper deck sky lounge, and al fresco dining for 10.

Amenities

In addition, a generous beach club offers direct access to the ocean. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories.
