The 145GT Horizon FD85s features exterior styling by Cor D. Rover Design, with naval architecture and interior design credited to Horizon in the latest delivery report. Built with a GRP hull and superstructure, Ikigai has a beam of 6.87m (22.5ft) and a draft of approximately 1.73m (5.7ft).
Horizon FD85s Ikigai Features a Helipad-Ready Deck and Bow Hot Tub
One of the yacht's most unusual features is her reinforced upper boat deck, designed to accommodate a custom helipad. The structural provision forms part of a broader owner-led specification intended to support different cruising activities, although the presence of a permanent helicopter landing facility has not been confirmed.
Forward, a hot tub provides a dedicated relaxation area, while the aft cockpit has been configured for family activities, watersports and fishing. A fold-down transom improves access to the water and provides a practical boarding point for swimmers and guests using water toys.
Inside the Horizon FD85s: Four Guest Cabins and an Aft Galley
The main deck layout places the galley toward the stern, with sliding glass doors opening onto an outdoor dining area seating up to ten guests. A convertible dining table allows the space to accommodate different group sizes, while the galley's position provides direct access to the aft deck for serving meals and entertaining.
Accommodation aboard the motor yacht is arranged for eight guests across four staterooms, including a full-beam owner's suite on the main deck.
The remaining accommodation comprises two VIP staterooms amidships and a forward cabin with a convertible V-berth, allowing the sleeping arrangement to be adapted according to the guests onboard. Two crew cabins, including separate captain's accommodation, are positioned aft of the engine room.
Twin MTU Engines Deliver a Top Speed of 17.4 Knots
Ikigai is powered by twin MTU diesel engines, with the latest delivery report confirming a top speed of 17.4 knots. The yacht's GRP construction and fast-displacement hull form follow the engineering approach used throughout Horizon's FD range.
With a reported gross tonnage of 145GT, the FD85s offers substantial accommodation within its 25.76m (84.5ft) length, while the shallow draft of approximately 1.73m (5.7ft) supports access to cruising grounds where deeper-draft yachts may face restrictions.
Interestingly, the newly delivered Horizon shares her name with the 36m superyacht Ikigai, a Sirena 118 also delivered in 2026 and featuring interior design by Cor D. Rover. The Turkish-built superyacht recently featured in YachtBuyer's independent Sirena 118 review and onboard video tour, receiving an overall four-star rating.
Horizon Yachts Expands Fleet With New Models and Upcoming Debuts
The delivery of Ikigai follows several developments across Horizon's fleet.
Looking ahead, the yard will introduce its new 21m Horizon PC68A power catamaran at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, running October 28 to November 1. Developed around accessibility, the model features a three-level internal elevator, wheelchair-friendly boarding arrangements and accommodation for six guests. A customized PC60 will also be displayed, alongside Horizon's FD110 Tri-Deck, FD90 Skyline, FD80 Skyline and V77s.
The builder also recently revealed the resort-inspired interior of its seventh FD110 Tri-Deck, while the first FD100 Skyline was sold to an experienced Australian owner. The 23m V74 EVO also progressed toward its Cannes Yachting Festival debut earlier this year.
