Developed around independent mobility, the Horizon PC68A is the first power catamaran in its size range to feature a fully integrated, multi-deck internal elevator.
New PC68A designed around accessibility
Developed in collaboration with Horizon Group's Vision Shipyard in Taiwan, the PC68A incorporates accessibility into the yacht's underlying design rather than adding adaptations later. Boarding is arranged around five wheelchair-friendly options, including a retractable boarding ramp, widened side gates and a hydraulic hi-lo platform, while automatic saloon doors, level flooring and generous passageways support movement across the main deck. Central to the design is a custom elevator connecting the master stateroom in the starboard hull with the main deck and the flybridge and Portuguese Deck. Frameless glass doors maintain an open feel, while an integrated rotating platform automatically positions a wheelchair for entry and exit in either direction.
Interior configured for independent use
The accessibility-focused approach continues through the interior, with the galley, accommodation and owner's suite configured for independent use. Appliances have been repositioned, accessible storage has been introduced and the master stateroom features a purpose-built transfer platform. The PC68A retains the underlying characteristics of the established PC68 platform, including its focus on interior volume and long-range cruising, while Horizon's Silent Living Package pairs a 1,600Ah Victron battery bank with a Termodinamica air-conditioning system to support generator-free operation for up to 20 hours per day.

Customized PC60 to join PC68A at FLIBS
Horizon will display a newly customized PC60 alongside the PC68A at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, featuring a three-stateroom layout with a forward master suite on the main deck. Its saloon and galley open onto an aft deck with an outdoor bar and dining area, while the upper deck incorporates a Portuguese Deck and fully enclosed, air-conditioned skylounge. The skylounge contains the main helm station, twin pilot seats, lounge and dining areas and a dedicated dayhead, with access to the Portuguese Deck forward and boat deck aft. Power comes from twin MAN i6 850hp engines, while Horizon's Victron-based Silent Living Package is also fitted.
Horizon expands PC68 range
The PC68 platform is also set to expand further after FLIBS, with Horizon currently preparing its first five-stateroom PC68. Scheduled to launch in January 2027, the yacht is expected to make its public debut at the 2027 Palm Beach International Boat Show, with further details to be announced closer to launch.
