ASANTE Sold: Fifth Hull of Custom Line’s Navetta 42 Series Changes Hands

A new chapter begins for ASANTE, the 41.8-metre motor yacht built by Italian yard Custom Line, as she has been successfully sold with Burgess representing the seller.

According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, ASANTE spent 494 days on the market before being snapped up - reflecting enduring demand for the Custom Line Navetta 42 series, a model that remains in production, with 13 units delivered since its debut in 2018.

Delivered in 2020 as the fifth hull in the popular semi-displacement line, ASANTE was last asking EUR 16,900,000. Designed throughout by Zuccon International Project, she features a clean, modern profile and a layout geared toward relaxed Mediterranean or Caribbean cruising, with expansive outdoor spaces, including al fresco dining areas, multiple sunpads, and a spacious beach club with bar.

The main saloon features warm wood flooring, a sit-up bar, gaming table, and formal dining area, surrounded by panoramic windows. A raised Jacuzzi on the sundeck, a shaded upper deck dining zone, and casual lounging spaces from bow to stern make ASANTE a compelling choice for sun-soaked socialising.

Her lightly used condition has been complemented by a “rigorous professional maintenance programme,” according to brokers, with extensive upgrades and shipyard works completed between 2023 and 2024. Inside, ASANTE accommodates 10 guests across five cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck and two doubles and two twins below. Crew quarters allow for a team of nine.

Technically, the yacht boasts a 348GT volume and is RINA-classed, powered by twin 1,622hp Caterpillar diesel engines for a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12.5 knots, with a transatlantic range of 3,200 nautical miles at 11 knots. Zero-speed stabilisers provide added comfort both underway and at anchor.

The Custom Line Navetta 42 remains one of the builder’s most sought-after models within the Navetta range of yachts for sale, with the next available new delivery not expected until 2027, underlining its long-term appeal among owners seeking space, style, and reliable cruising capability in the sub-500GT category.

We do not yet know ASANTE's new name, but signs point to the previous owner having taken delivery of a new Custom Line 50 -  also reportedly named ASANTE. This suggests the name may stay with the owner's new, larger yacht, while the 42-metre vessel begins her next chapter under a different identity.
