First unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2025, the Custom Line Saetta 128 introduces a new tri-deck arrangement to the planing range, with exterior styling by SY Design and interiors developed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.
First Custom Line Saetta 128 Enters the Water in Ancona
Built entirely at the Ferretti Group's Ancona facility, the first Saetta 128 represents a new direction for the builder's high-performance yacht portfolio.
The launch ceremony was attended by members of the project team, including Matteo Sassone and Veronica Yien of SY Design, responsible for the exterior styling, and Chiara Massarani of ACPV ARCHITECTS, which developed the interior architecture.
The model was originally presented as part of Custom Line's transition from its established Planing Series to the Saetta identity, a name meaning "arrow" in Italian. The new range comprises four models, from the 32.82m Saetta 106 to the 42.61m Saetta 140, with the Saetta 128 introducing the first tri-deck configuration in the family.
Its profile retains the low, elongated proportions associated with Custom Line's planing yachts, despite the additional deck. A sharply styled stern, extensive screen-printed glazing and sculpted superstructure give the motor yacht a distinctly sporty appearance.
Perfect Mood Interiors and 22-Knot Performance
The first Saetta 128 features the Perfect Mood interior concept, developed by ACPV ARCHITECTS with support from Custom Line Atelier. Chocolate and mocha lacquered finishes, walnut and maple woods, white Sivec marble and textured ivory wallpaper create a warm, contemporary setting. Soft geometric forms, suspended furniture and full-height windows complete the design.
Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines producing 2,638hp each, the yacht has a projected top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 19 knots. An estimated range of 1,000 nautical miles at 11 knots was previously announced, although performance figures remain preliminary pending sea trials.
Inside the New Saetta 128: Sky Lounge, Beach Club and Five Cabins
The main deck aft measures 33 sq m (355 sq ft), leading directly into a 40 sq m (431 sq ft) main salon with a dining area. Forward, the full-beam owner's suite features a dressing room, ensuite bathroom and full-height windows.
One of the model's defining spaces is its upper-deck sky lounge, measuring approximately 20 sq m (215 sq ft). The enclosed lounge opens onto a considerably larger 40 sq m (431 sq ft) aft terrace, providing a second major social area away from the main deck.
Forward on the same level, a 25 sq m (269 sq ft) lounge has a U-shaped sofa, integrated storage and sunpads. Owners can also specify a hydromassage tub, introducing an additional wellness option. The sundeck offers another 30 sq m (323 sq ft) of outdoor space, furnished with movable seating and loungers that can be arranged around the owner's preferences.
At the stern, a beach club provides access to the water, while the lower-deck garage arrangement was previously detailed with capacity for two water toys, including a tender and Jet Ski. Accommodation is arranged across five cabins, with the main-deck owner's suite accompanied by three VIP cabins and one additional guest cabin on the lower deck. The yacht sleeps 10 guests as standard, increasing to 11 with an optional Pullman berth.
Custom Line Expands Its Superyacht Fleet
The launch follows a busy year for Custom Line, including the first 35m Navetta 35 entering the water in June 2026. While the Navetta range focuses on long-distance displacement cruising, the Saetta family prioritizes higher speeds and sporty styling.
