Built by Pershing and developed in collaboration between Vallicelli Design and Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department. The yacht is being built at the Ferretti Group Plug and Mould facility, where advanced manufacturing technologies are paired with traditional craftsmanship.
Expanded cockpit and sportsbridge maximise outdoor living
The yacht's exterior design follows the established styling language of the GTX series, featuring Pershing’s signature Anniversary Silver hull colour, a near-vertical bow and a continuous, slightly convex sheerline that creates a sleek and dynamic profile. A major focus of the design is the aft cockpit, where two fold-down side terraces significantly increase the usable deck area and position the yacht’s maximum beam within the social space, creating a total surface area of 37 square metres. The stern also incorporates a garage capable of storing both a tender and a jet ski, while the 33-square-metre sportsbridge is around 43% larger than the average for yachts in this size category and provides dedicated zones for sunbathing, dining and navigation.
Open-plan interiors create seamless connections between spaces
The motor yacht's main deck has been designed to blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living, centred around a five-panel glass door arrangement that opens the salon directly onto the cockpit. Making full use of the yacht’s widebody superstructure, the interior offers generous volumes, with a show kitchen positioned aft to port alongside an elegant bar counter and an eight-person dining area opposite. The central lounge features a large L-shaped sofa as standard, although owners can opt for two separate couches, while the helm station forward includes three pilot seats and direct access to both side decks, enhancing functionality and ease of movement around the boat.
Four-cabin accommodation designed for guest comfort
Accommodation is arranged across four cabins on the lower deck, each served by its own en suite bathroom. The full-beam owner’s suite is positioned amidships to take advantage of the yacht’s widest section, while a VIP cabin occupies the bow. The remaining guest accommodation consists of one double cabin and one twin cabin, creating a flexible layout suitable for family cruising or entertaining multiple groups of guests. The arrangement is designed to maximise available space while maintaining privacy and comfort throughout extended stays on board.
Twin MAN engines target a top speed of 35 knots
Powering the Pershing GTX90 are twin MAN V12 2200 engines producing 2,200hp each, paired with Castoldi TurboDrive 600 HCT waterjets. According to preliminary figures, this propulsion package is expected to deliver a top speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots, showcasing strong performance with the manoeuvrability benefits of waterjet propulsion. Owners will also be able to specify twin Seakeeper NG18 gyroscopic stabilisers to enhance onboard comfort.
During the project's presentation at Boot Düsseldorf 2026, Ferretti Group executives described the GTX90 as the "final missing link" in the GTX range, positioning the new model between the GTX80 and flagship GTX116. The Flagship model has previously been the subject of a YachtBuyer review, as Pershing continues to expand its Sport Utility Yacht lineup.
According to YachtBuyer MarketWatch, the largest yacht database in the world, the Pershing GTX range also includes the Pershing GTX70, designed to provide the performance credentials of a sports yacht with the increased volume and versatility associated with larger cruising platforms. Positioned above, the GTX90 offers even greater outdoor living space and guest accommodation.
