For storage fitment in a tender garage or for onboard yacht placement the Xtenders 8.3M Diving Tender is 8.3m in length and has a maximum width of 2.6m.
The Xtender 8.3m is a fully custom tender that was designed for an adventurous client who wanted a multipurpose tender to use for exploration trips, diving and hospitality purposes. Despite a complete interior the whole tender weighs only 1095kg. Two Yamaha 115hp outboard engines were chosen to maximize interior space and the tender’s power to weight ratio.
The combination of the shock mitigating seats and removable benches provide the necessary flexibility within a wide functionality range. Additionally the benches are placed upon sliding tracks to allow the interior of the tender to be adjusted to best suit its intended use for any given day.
The bimini top sits stylishly upon a single carbon centre post and has no problems fulfilling its job even at top speed; a feat made possible by the unique material qualities of carbon fibre. The bimini can be extended all the way to the stern to provide more shade on sunny days. Boarding is facilitated by the steps at the stern and a custom carbon boarding ladder that can be placed on both sides of the tender.
