On Deck
The Custom Line 124 features generous outdoor spaces across several levels. Starting at the stern, the transom folds down to form a spacious beach club area right at water level. On this yacht, the space is set up for diving rather than storing a tender, with lockers, kit storage, and what appears to be a dive tank compressor and additional ice maker on hand.
Side gates lead up from the beach club along wide walkways, past the drop-down balconies amidships, and forward to the bow. The foredeck offers a shaded lounging area with additional sunpads further forward, along with full anchor-handling gear right at the bow. The wood-capped handrails and laid decks give it a sharp, polished finish.
The upper aft deck flows out from the skylounge and provides a well-shaded space with ample seating and built-in fridges and an ice maker. Above that, the flybridge delivers panoramic views, another helm station, and more sunbathing space. There's a sliding hatch that can enclose the helm. Mounted up here are twin radar domes, satellite receivers, nav lights, searchlight, and life rafts.
Side doors on the main deck give direct access to both the foredeck and crew areas. The drop-down balconies on either side of the saloon add to the feeling of connection between inside and out.
Interior Accommodation
The main saloon has a light, modern finish that belies the yacht's 2013 build date. It feels fresh and spacious, helped by the wide beam and the drop-down balconies that link it with the side decks. Large windows, a soft color scheme, and darker wood elements provide contrast and balance.
Forward of the main lounge, the dining area is fitted with a near-square table, designed for more sociable mealtimes without the separation that a long, narrow table can bring. Storage cupboards line the area, along with a wall-mounted TV disguised as artwork.
Above, the skylounge features stylish sloping windows that create a loft-like atmosphere. A rise-and-fall TV is installed, and glass doors open straight onto the upper aft deck. The bridge sits just forward of this lounge and can be closed off with a sliding door.
The galley, located between the saloon and crew areas, is equipped with multiple refrigerators, a wine cooler, a large oven and hob, and a wide sink with a view out over the water. Direct access from the side deck ensures crew can move efficiently without disturbing guests.
Owner's Cabin
Positioned on the main deck forward, the owner’s suite includes a study area with a desk and a sliding door, offering privacy for work or reading. Two walk-in wardrobes sit either side of the space, and large hull windows let in plenty of natural light.
The ensuite bathroom runs full beam across the forward end of the cabin. It includes a large shower, designer basin, toilet with a privacy door, and a secondary door that closes off the space entirely. The contrast between light finishes and dark wood details carries through from the saloon.
Guest Accommodation
Four guest cabins sit on the lower deck. Two mirror cabins aft come with walk-in wardrobes, ensuite bathrooms with large showers, toilets behind privacy doors, and dressing tables tucked behind the entry doors. Both are bright, with rippling water reflections coming through the hull windows.
Forward of those are two twin cabins, each fitted with Pullman berths to increase flexibility. Again, they’re generously sized for secondary cabins, with large hull windows that include circular opening ports. Each has its own ensuite, complete with sink, shower, and toilet, and each features practical storage and thick soundproofed doors.
Crew Accommodation
Crew access is well thought out, with side entry doors and a passageway linking the galley, crew mess, and laundry. The crew mess is compact but functional, with a utility area nearby that includes laundry machines.
There are four crew cabins in total. The captain’s cabin includes a double bed, ensuite with separate shower, a desk, and a system monitor. The remaining crew cabins feature bunk beds and ensuite bathrooms with similar layouts. These are positioned forward on the lower deck, away from guest accommodation.
Performance
Accessed via the beach club or side deck, the engine room is fitted with a pair of MTU 12V 4000 M93 engines, each producing 3,510 hp. This setup delivers a top speed of 25 knots, with cruising speeds between 10 and 15 knots. At 10 knots, the range is around 700 to 800 nautical miles.
The engines dominate the space, rising to shoulder height. The engine room also houses the yacht’s air conditioning units and twin generators. This layout allows straightforward servicing access, with clearly defined walkways.
While the yacht could store a tender in the beach club, the current setup supports water sports and diving, with the main tender instead towed as a chase boat - a common setup for this size of yacht.
In Summary
Delivered in 2013, this 124-foot (37.8-meter) Custom Line offers a well-balanced mix of elegance and practicality. Its exterior decks provide varied lounging and entertaining spaces across multiple levels, while the drop-down balconies and generous glazing link the interior to the seascape. Inside, the saloon and dining areas feel up-to-date and social, while the galley and crew layout keeps operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
The main deck owner's suite is well-proportioned and thoughtfully separated, and the four guest cabins below offer a flexible mix of double and twin arrangements, all ensuite and finished to a consistent standard. Crew accommodation and working areas are accessible and discreet.
With 7,020 horsepower on tap, a 25-knot top speed, and a purpose-built beach club set up for diving, this is a yacht that comfortably bridges cruising and play.
