The 24.38m open yacht African Sun was delivered to her owners in 1999 by Italian shipyard Mangusta. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Andrea Bacigalupo, while Mangusta is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 5.9m beam and a 1.58m draft. The yacht is built over 1 decks with an internal volume of 102 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the twenty-eighth yacht built on the Mangusta 80 Open design.
Accommodation
African Sun offers accommodation for up to 6 guests in 3 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 2 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V331TC92) engines, motor yacht African Sun is capable of reaching a top speed of 42 knots, and comfortably cruises at 38 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
