Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.62m beam and a 2.1m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 140 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in March 2013 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2013.

Exterior Design

Belle de Jour is finished in a clean, white color for both the hull and superstructure, presenting a crisp and timeless appearance. The boot top is highlighted in blue, adding a classic maritime touch, while the area below the waterline is painted green, ensuring compliance with marine safety standards.

Belle de Jour's flybridge is a key feature, providing ample space for guests to enjoy alfresco meals and relaxation. The sun deck is equipped with a grill and a galley counter, catering to casual gatherings. This area also includes a seating arrangement suited for relaxed social interactions. Additionally, the sun deck offers sufficient storage space for a tender or a small car, which can be easily deployed using the onboard crane.

Interior Design

Belle de Jour's decor features a neutral color palette, utilizing white furnishings and light wood paneling. This combination creates an airy and modern atmosphere. Dark wood flooring offers a subtle contrast, enhancing the overall aesthetic without overwhelming it.

The saloon serves as the main living area. It is spacious and leads directly to the galley. The galley is well-equipped for all culinary needs, making it practical for both casual and formal dining experiences. The formal dining area is strategically placed aft of the wheelhouse, providing a dedicated space for hosting meals and gatherings.

Accommodation

Belle de Jour offers accommodation for up to six guests in a layout that includes three staterooms. The full-beam master suite is a highlight, featuring a walk-in wardrobe for added convenience and storage. The guest accommodation comprises a double stateroom and a twin stateroom. Notably, the twin stateroom can be converted into an expansive VIP suite, providing flexible options for various guest needs.

Crew accommodation includes two cabins, capable of housing up to four crew members, including the captain. This ensures that all service and operational needs are met efficiently, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests on board.

Performance & Capabilities

Motor yacht Belle de Jour is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 31,800 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,975 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
