The 33.5m open yacht Big Ciki was delivered to her owners in 2006 by Italian shipyard Mangusta. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Stefano Righini, while Mangusta has designed her interiors.
Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.12m beam and a 1.3m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 181 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the twenty-second yacht built on the Mangusta 108 design.
Exterior Design
The Mangusta 108 exudes sleekness and power, with a low-lying side profile and a forward-flowing dynamic. From the stern, a curved transom ascends to meet the main deck level, maintaining a clean line to the raked bow with rounded topsides. The hull features a series of portholes and a distinctive bank of five slim vertical glazing sections amidships. The curvilinear shaping of the bridge, along with a wing-style aft canopy for the radar mast, further enhances its dynamic aesthetic.
The main deck aft is thoughtfully designed as a guest area, featuring spacious sun pads and corner seating with tables, shaded by the canopy above. Twin slim staircases provide access to the bathing platform. Cleverly integrated personal watercraft storage is incorporated into the deck sides, with an integrated crane for easy launching. An ingeniously designed sunroof ensures ample natural light and airflow in the main interior section.
Accommodation
Big Ciki offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin and 2 double cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000M90) 2,730hp engines, motor yacht Big Ciki is capable of reaching a top speed of 35 knots, and comfortably cruises at 28 knots. With her 14,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 350 nautical miles at 28 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
