Exterior Design
CV-9 is a 40m (131ft) full-displacement superyacht crafted in composite construction, built to combine rugged capability with stylish sophistication. She was commissioned to be a seaworthy and reliable long-range cruiser, meeting her owners’ wish for a classical aesthetic that balances grandeur with relaxation. Her hull lines speak to this vision, delivering a solid, performance-focused design that remains steady even in rough seas, while maintaining an impressively quiet ride at over 14 knots.
Deck spaces are designed to encourage both relaxation and entertainment. The main deck is a full walk-around layout, featuring a dining table aft, a wet bar positioned to port, and additional seating spread across the stern. For those wanting to soak up the sun, the sundeck is equipped with four chaise lounges aft, each paired with umbrellas for shade. Ample deck areas invite open-air living, whether it’s sunbathing, playing with water toys, or hosting more formal dining and cocktail gatherings. The aft deck can be enjoyed al fresco or enclosed and air-conditioned to extend the entertaining space from the main salon.
Interior Design
The interior of CV-9 was crafted with quiet comfort at the heart of the brief. The design focuses on lightness and ease, with pale-colored carpets and upholstery running throughout, creating a seamless transition between indoor spaces and the breezy decks. The layout and furnishings deliver a welcoming, effortless charm, designed to perform equally well for private family moments and larger gatherings with guests.
The main saloon provides plentiful seating paired with a formal dining area, ideal for relaxed dinners or lively celebrations. Moving upward, the bridge deck houses a full-beam sky lounge, surrounded by expansive glass windows that flood the space with natural light and invite panoramic views.
One particularly prized space is the sky lounge, set just above the main deck - an intimate spot that frames ever-changing views of the water while offering a quieter, elevated perch for guests.
Throughout, CV-9 showcases a commitment to keeping noise and vibration to a minimum. Delta developed a specialised insulation-engineering solution, ensuring that whether cruising or at anchor, the yacht maintains a peaceful and smooth environment - a true home-away-from-home on the water.
Accommodation
CV-9 accommodates up to 11 guests across five thoughtfully arranged suites located on the lower deck. Forward to port, there is a guest cabin fitted with a queen-size bed. Two twin suites are positioned in the starboard forward cabin and port aft cabin, each featuring en suite bathrooms with showers. The VIP cabin is situated port aft, offering a queen-size bed and private en suite facilities.
She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3508TA) 750hp engines, motor yacht CV-9 is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 37,850 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at 13 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
