Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.5m beam and a 2.85m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 279 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Madame Thelma is a CRN motor yacht measuring 39.6m (129.9ft), built in 1975 with a welded steel hull and aluminium superstructure. The profile is unmistakably classic, with a long, raised foredeck, layered deckhouse and a strong, purposeful stance.
A defining feature is the pronounced bow chine, a CRN hallmark of the period. It draws from working fishing vessels, so it adds volume forward and supports a drier, more secure ride in rough conditions. The bow itself is high and rounded, while the hull carries multiple portholes and elongated windows that reflect the era’s functional design approach.
Teak decks run throughout, with wide side decks and high bulwarks that support safe movement along the yacht. The upper deck aft offers a large open area for dining and lounging, while the sundeck sits above as a more private space with a secondary helm and clear views.

Interior Design

The main saloon sits on the main deck and combines a lounge area with a formal dining space for up to 10 guests. Large windows bring in natural light, while direct access to the aft deck keeps the connection to outdoor areas simple. A 55-inch TV and integrated entertainment systems are built into the space.
Across the yacht, cabinetry, wall panels and furniture use the same mahogany finish, which gives a unified look. Air-conditioning, updated navigation systems and modern onboard systems have been added to support longer stays onboard without altering the overall character.
Accommodation
Madame Thelma accommodates up to 12 guests in 6 cabins, with space for up to 9 crew and additional accommodation for up to 8 staff or security.
The owner’s suite sits on the main deck and includes a private study, large windows and a full en suite bathroom. Its position separates it from guest cabins and gives a quieter space onboard.
Guest accommodation is arranged on the lower deck. A full-beam VIP sits forward, supported by two additional guest cabins. Aft, two interconnecting cabins can work as separate rooms or combine into a larger suite with a lounge area, so the layout adapts for families or different guest groups. All cabins are en suite and include TVs and storage.
Crew cabins are positioned forward on the lower deck with a dedicated mess and galley, while the captain’s cabin sits on the upper deck next to the bridge for direct access.

Powered by twin diesel Detroit Diesel (149 TIB 12V Model 9122 7301) 950hp engines, motor yacht Madame Thelma is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots.
