Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 6.4m beam and a 3.3m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 196 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
No Destination is a very different proposition from a conventional 37.5m (123ft) yacht. Originally built by Damen as a fast crew support vessel for the Royal Navy, she underwent a 30-month rebuild in the Netherlands that transformed her into an explorer yacht while preserving the strength and capability of her commercial roots.
The profile remains purposeful and distinctive. A wave-piercing axe bow, near-vertical stem and compact superstructure give the yacht a confident stance, while the grey hull, white superstructure and yellow boot stripe ensure she stands out from the crowd. Even among modern explorer yachts, No Destination looks different.
The aft deck is the defining feature. Stretching across almost the full beam of the yacht, it functions as a working deck capable of carrying tenders, toys and expedition equipment. Once everything has been launched, it becomes a huge open-air terrace beside the water. The custom 5.5-tonne A-frame crane dominates the space and allows the yacht to carry equipment that would be difficult to accommodate aboard most yachts of similar size.
Visible in the photographs is the custom 9m (28ft) Munson Packcat landing craft tender, a particularly useful piece of equipment for owners who enjoy exploring remote coastlines, beaches and anchorages. Unlike a conventional tender, it allows guests, vehicles and equipment to be landed directly ashore.
The bridge deck aft provides a lovely elevated lounge and dining area with excellent views, while the main deck aft offers a second alfresco dining space with barbecue facilities overlooking the aft deck. This arrangement gives guests a choice between activity-focused areas and quieter social spaces.
Forward, the foredeck has been transformed into a surprisingly large relaxation zone. A jacuzzi sits at the centre of a sun lounge with uninterrupted views ahead, making it one of the best seats on the yacht when underway.
Interior Design
The interior balances the yacht's adventurous brief with a relaxed and highly personal atmosphere. Rather than following the typical explorer-yacht formula of dark industrial finishes, No Destination introduces colour, texture and a more playful approach to design.
The main deck lounge occupies the full beam and serves as the yacht's primary gathering space. An L-shaped sofa, television and pantry create a comfortable setting for relaxing after a day ashore or on the water, while large windows bring in plenty of natural light.
The styling is deliberately individual. Patterned fabrics, colourful accents and contemporary furnishings give the interior a character of its own without becoming overwhelming. It feels like a yacht built around the personality of its owners rather than a generic production interior.
A smaller lounge on the bridge deck sits directly beside the wheelhouse, creating a very pleasant space where guests can spend time with the captain while enjoying panoramic views ahead. It is an arrangement that suits the yacht's exploration-focused nature particularly well.
The bathrooms introduce a more refined feel through the use of taupe marble, decorative detailing and carefully selected fittings. These touches soften the yacht's commercial origins and add warmth to the accommodation areas.
A dumbwaiter links the galley with the upper decks, while modern systems, extensive refrigeration and practical storage support longer periods aboard.
Accommodation
No Destination accommodates up to seven guests across three cabins and carries a crew of four.
The owner's suite occupies the forward section of the main deck and is an impressive full-beam space. A king-size bed sits at the centre of the cabin, while a walk-in wardrobe, desk and generous storage make the suite particularly well suited to extended cruising.
The en suite bathroom is one of the standout features of the accommodation. A skylight introduces natural light from above, while a steam shower and bathtub create a surprisingly luxurious retreat aboard a yacht whose origins lie in commercial service.
Two guest cabins sit aft of the owner's suite. One is arranged as a double cabin, while the second contains three berths. This flexible arrangement works very well for families, grandchildren or mixed guest groups, and both cabins benefit from private en suite facilities.
Crew accommodation is arranged separately in two cabins for four crew members.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 1,400hp engines, motor yacht No Destination is capable of reaching a top speed of 22 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 29,731 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots making her well capable of long range and transatlantic voyages. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
