Damen 75m Hybrid Yacht

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 11.5m beam. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,567 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch and go heli-pad.

Construction started in early 2022. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

With its assertive expedition profile and purposeful design, the Damen 75m Hybrid presents a striking balance of capability and clean, modern aesthetics. The exterior was shaped by Michael Leach Design, with input from Star Design Ltd, reflecting a rugged yet still sophisticated look suited to long-range exploration.  

Durable, low-maintenance synthetic teak decking is used throughout all exterior spaces, chosen for its practicality and resilience in all conditions. The upper deck features a high-capacity crane designed to launch and recover a 14.6 meter (47.9 foot) fast tender, a nine-meter (29.5 foot) utility vessel, and even a car. Once deployed, this area transforms into a flexible open deck capable of hosting a modular swimming pool or other adaptable amenities.

A touch-and-go helipad adds to the yacht’s logistical capabilities, supporting off-grid access and exploration. Ample exterior stowage space is also available for a range of tenders and toys, reinforcing the yacht’s expedition-ready character.

Interior Design

The interior design of the Damen 75m Hybrid is also the work of Michael Leach Design, guided by the owner’s vision and executed in close collaboration with Star Design Ltd. The interior has been conceived with an emphasis on self-sufficiency and functionality to support extended periods at sea.

A standout element of the concept is the integration of commercial-grade cultivation pods aboard - a first for a private yacht of this size. These systems are designed to grow fresh produce such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce onboard, aligning with the yacht’s low-impact philosophy and reducing reliance on external provisioning.

Accommodation

The Damen 75m Hybrid is configured to welcome up to 12 guests across a range of well-appointed cabins, including a private owner’s deck and a VIP suite. She is also capable of carrying up to 24 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Motor yacht Damen 75m Hybrid is capable of reaching a top speed of 8 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht and an inviting spread of sunpads.
