18m Absolute Navetta 58 Set for World Debut at Cannes Yachting Festival 2026

Absolute Yachts will unveil their new model design at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, introducing a long-range cruising yacht that showcases Italian craftsmanship, innovative design and highly customisable living spaces.

The 18m Absolute Navetta 58 is the latest addition to Absolute Yachts' Navetta range, showcasing the Italian builder's in-house approach to exterior styling, interior design and naval architecture. Named Andromeda, the semi-displacement GRP yacht balances contemporary Italian design with versatile indoor-outdoor living spaces and innovative features tailored for extended cruising.

Inspired by a star, designed for modern cruising

The motor yacht has been conceived as a balance of elegance, strength and innovation. Absolute's designers have created a profile defined by fluid lines and carefully integrated glazing, giving the yacht a distinctive contemporary appearance while maximising natural light throughout. Among the most recognisable design features are the builder's signature squircle-shaped bow windows, glass bulwarks that open up uninterrupted sea views from the cockpit and a truncated transom that improves access to the water. Together, these elements create a yacht that feels connected to its surroundings while maintaining the privacy and comfort expected of a luxury cruiser.

A flybridge designed around outdoor living

Outdoor entertaining sits at the heart of the yacht, with the fully sheltered cockpit offering a flexible social area that can be configured with modular seating arrangements to suit different owner preferences. Above, the step-free flybridge creates an expansive second living space complete with a generous aft terrace, an L-shaped sofa and a sliding ceramic dining table. A fully equipped wet bar incorporates a barbecue, refrigerator, icemaker and freezer, while a secondary helm station on the starboard side simplifies manoeuvring and docking. Visitors exploring the yacht at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 will also be able to see the large hardtop, available with either an opening roof section or integrated solar panels, alongside atmospheric lighting integrated throughout the deck spaces.

Flexible interiors centred on comfort and light

Inside, the boat continues Absolute's focus on creating bright, open and highly customisable living spaces. The step-free main deck salon can be configured with a foldaway lounge table or a six-person electrically operated dining table, while owners can further personalise the space with alternative furniture arrangements including storage cabinets, display units or occasional seating. Accommodation is arranged for six guests across three cabins, highlighted by a spacious full-beam owner's suite positioned forward with a walk-in wardrobe and customisable furnishings. A generous midship VIP cabin benefits from large panoramic windows and an ensuite bathroom, while the twin guest cabin can be converted into a double berth at the touch of a button. Soft ambient lighting, rounded furniture profiles, efficient climate control and natural ventilation contribute to the relaxed onboard atmosphere.

Efficient Volvo IPS power for extended cruising

Constructed entirely from GRP, the Navetta 58 features a beam of 5.16 metres and carries 2,800 litres of fuel. Power comes from twin Volvo Penta D11-IPS950 engines, each producing 533kW, delivering the efficiency, manoeuvrability and smooth cruising characteristics that have become synonymous with Volvo's IPS platform. The propulsion package has been selected to reduce fuel consumption, vibration and onboard noise while enhancing docking precision and overall comfort during extended cruising.
